My first time to join this meme called 'messy go round.' I am sure every parent has plenty of messes to share with us...so come on and join us :-)! Anyway, my son and hubby love spaghetti...so I make sure that once a week I serve some to them. See how messy my son when he eats his favorite food...well, at least one of his fave, lol!

I love this meme for I can share even the messes in my house created by my only son...ooops!

Friday Fill Ins

Time flies so fast and it's Friday once again; time to make the meme "Friday Fill Ins. Here it goes.

1. We need to start looking for a house.
2. When my son makes funny faces, I feel happy and it made me smile.
3. If you want, I can help you , just let me know what to do.
4. I feel like taking a nap because I slept late sleep last night.
5. Massachusetts has a proposed 5% sales tax on elective cosmetic surgery; I think it was better than before.
6. Family gathering with plenty of food makes for a happy holiday.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to just sit and relax while watching T.V., tomorrow my plans putting away clean laundry and spend time with my son and Sunday, I want to attend church services.

Girls Rule: My Favorite Pastime

It's time to reveal my favorite pastime at GR hosted by none other than Niko of Niko's Blog :-)! So, here are few of my fave pastime.

1.) I'll say, cooking is my first pastime :-); no wonder why I gained weight and so is my husband. I love cooking and that is the reason why my son loves it when he sees me cooks. It's funny because he calls any meal I prepare a "dinner." He loves to sit and eat with us and that is good because that is where we talk about our days :-)! Although I love to cook, am not an expert on it!

2.) Now, this is what almost everyone of us fave pastime, blogging :-)! It is obvious because as all of you know I maintain five blogs; it is hard to maintain them, but I sure love it! In blogging, I basically loves it because it allows me to share my thoughts, feelings, opinions and experiences on top of making lots of friends and learning from them.
2.) I love to read and that is one of my fave pastime when I don't feel like staying in front of the computer long. I have some fave magazines and books to read and most of them are self-improvement books, parenting, and how to manage finances. Church magazines and literature are on the lists, too.

4.) Filipino soap operas reminds me of home and so I watch T.V. while I blog :-); I also love to watch cooking shows, old movies, and funny shows like Ugly Betty, George Lopez, and more. Movies I watch are family oriented one; so we watch movies that my son watch.

5.) Last but not the least, shopping is an old time fave. I am glad shopping mall here are little bit far from where we live, otherwise you will find me there when I am not home :-)!

Mommy Moments: Sporty Day

Now I don't really know yet what sports he would really love to play when he is old enough to play. As a mother, being so protective, I want the safest sport he could play if I were to choose; but you know, we can only support them with what they really in to, right?

Girls Talk: My Favorite Chocolate

Although my doctor advice me to go easy on sweets because I am diabetic, sometimes I couldn't resist to eat one. One of my favorite brand name chocolates is Hershey's Kisses with or without almond. But since the Dove came out on the market, it became my favorite. I like that it is so smooth like a silk.

Mommy Moments: Let's Play Pretend!

Diet RootBeer is one of our fave soda... Jake on the other hand drinks sodas occasionally...it also depends on his mood :-).


I drink a lot of water and sometimes it can be boring, so I mix this Crystal Light to my water.

Girls Talk: My Favorite Accessories

It's been awhile since my last GT entry; been busy lately. This is two days late; hope still okay :-)!

I do have plenty of accessories; but these are my favorite. I wear them every time I go out.

The necklace was purchase when I was still single back in Malaysia, my wedding band and engagement ring, loops earring (which I never take out of my ear, except today); and the Guess watch (hubby's gift on Christmas of 2007).

~~ When I lost control over food!

~~ No.

~~ Because I decided to pursue nursing instead.

~~ A homemaker.
5. What's the best part of what you do?
~~ Being a Mom and Wife.
6. Do you have plans to do something else down the road?
~~ Yes, pursue education... see #3.
7. How did you get your present job? If you are a stay at home mom, how long did you need to plan that move?
~~ Till my son gets married.
8. Did your parents influence your choices of jobs over the years?
~~ No, it is always my choice and they respect that.

~~ Enjoy what you do for that is the only way to make you really happy.

Girls Talk: My Favorite Perfume!

Just like every woman, I am a perfume lover. I have a small collection of perfume mostly gifts from hubby, brother and friend. I have Cool Water by Davidoff, Celine Dion parfum, Calvin Klein, Curve, Estee Lauder and of course, a cologne from Bench! But my most favorite of them all is Versace which picture is shown here.

Saturday 9: Let's Go to Bed

1. Has a relationship been effected by how one of you slept?
~~ Not at all for me or even my hubby for that matter.
2. What side of the bed do you sleep on?
~~ I sleep on the left side of the bed, sometimes in the middle when my son decided to sleep in between hubby and me.
3. Do you sleep on your back, side, or stomach?
~~ Mostly on my sides.
4. Describe the bedding on your bed right now. How does it change with the seasons? Are you particular about your pillows or linens?
~~ Right now, our bedding matches the curtains; it is goes with the Fall season...100% cotton.
5. When sleeping with someone, do you hog the bed, steal covers, or snore?
~~ I don't do any on the lists, but snore...which I have no control over it.
6. What do you wear to bed? If it varies, explain.
~~ A set of pajamas most of the time and it is cotton.
7. No matter how much you love someone, would you rather alone?
~~ Sometimes if I don't have a choice.
8. Tell us about a time when you awoke in bed, saw the person next to you and thought, "Oh, no..."
~~ So far, that didn't happen yet.
9. Tell us about a time when you awoke thinking it was a different day than it was.
~~ Well, since hubby works night shift; he made our bedroom looks like it is always night because it is so dark in there. Every time I take a nap there, when I wake up, I always wonder whether is it morning or night already...weird.

Friday Fill-Ins

1. I have a history of End Stage Renal Disease, luckily I have new kidneys transplanted in me.
2. Playing piano is something I wish I knew.
3. I'm eating (or recently ate) chocolate cupcakes I have baked half an hour ago.
4. Mud and dirt left from flood are still on the road.
5. So that's it, that's all I want, nothing more, nothing less.
6. You may not have plenty of money, but having good health is a lot better than nothing!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to finishing the tasks assigned for me to do, tomorrow my plans include watch the Saturday session of the General conference and Sunday, I want to attend the Sunday session of the General conference and then rest!
