They suspended My Blog

Late last year, I have found out that the company who hosted one of my blogs had suspended my account with them without informing me. I just realized what they did when one day I couldn’t access my blog at all. I didn't know what the problem was and did the best I could to fix the problem but to no avail. Finally, I got a hold of them after trying to contact them through phone. They told me that they suspended my account because I wasn't paying for it. Duh, I have been renewing it for the last three years, and then all of a sudden they were telling me that I wasn't paying. I didn't want to argue with them, so I just asked them what will I do to pay to activate my account again, but told me that they don't do that anymore and that they can refer me to some web hosting company they know. I just said forget it since it's kid of expensive to do that. I just asked if they can send me the activation code so I can use it when I finally get a company to host my website. Thankfully, they agreed to send it to my email.
After that experienced, I decided not to use that company again ever! I am glad to have found a company to host my websites who is reliable and can be trusted. I tell you, I never thought that such company exists. Imagine suspending my account without telling me is not acceptable.
Anyway, I still have two blogs/sites that needs to be hosted and I am now looking for a web hosting company that is reliable, can be trusted and that offers a lot of things that can be beneficial for my websites. I have found some company, but is leaning towards one. What made me chose this certain is that my website can be up in no time (30 minutes) compare to others that will take a week or so for a website to be up. Well, I can wait that long. I have a job to do with my website that needs immediate attention otherwise I would lose some money. With this web hosting company, I just can relax while they do the transferring for me.

Finding Ways to Save Money

The US economy is not in good condition right now. People are having difficulty managing their finances and we are not exempted. Hubby is the only breadwinner in our home and since I just stay home, I am constantly searching for ways to help him pay bills and save at the same time. I do online job, and get paid for it without much hardship compared to hubby's job. I must say that I am able to help him if not a lot, but at least am bringing bacon at the table, too every so often. Lately,  I have been hearing a lot about using coupons and savings. Some of m friends are good at using coupons and I think I better ask them how they do it and where they find these coupons. I know there are coupons that are available online. I love perfumes; I wonder if I can find armani exchange coupons at dropdowndeals. And if I they do, then I would be able to get hubby the perfume I am plan to give him for our wedding anniversary. I am pretty sure he would love it. Anyway, I better find out where else can I find coupons for groceries and even clothes, too!

It's "Meet the Teacher Night" today, yay!

Today is the "meet the teacher night" at Jacob's new school and he is very excited to go. He thought it would his first day of school where he could stay and learn. I told him that the school doesn't start till next week (Monday). He was disappointed; my poor little man had already so much for the summer and is bored being home. Can't blame him. With the soaring heat everyday, and we could go out and play...that is too much to bear even for me. Three more days and he will off to school; will going to miss him, but what can I do? My little boy needs to go to school and learn. Hubby and I are excited though to walk him off to school on Monday.

Spring Cleaning Tips

Spring cleaning is here. To make it easier for us, here are some few tips to follow:

1. Clean in an organized manner.
2. Clean the things you'd never think to clean. Other never-thought-they-needed-to-be-cleaned areas:
  • Telephone receivers.
  • Indoor garbage cans.
  • Shower curtains.
  • Automatic dishwashers.
  • The fireplace.
  • HVAC filters.

3. Dust with worn-out wool socks or a corner of an old wool blanket or sweater.
4. Polish silver with toothpaste.
5. Open your drains the nontoxic way.
6. Clean your windows the healthy way. And don't forget these tools and tips:

  • Use a sponge wand to soak the window in suds, rather than a spray bottle. Wet the windows thoroughly and let the solution do its work for about five minutes.
  • Avoid cleaning your windows on sunny days or in bright sunlight. The sun dries the solution too quickly, which can result in streaks.
  • Use a black rubber squeegee to dry the window. Make sure every iota of water comes off; otherwise, you're leaving dirt on the window.
  • Use paper towels to dry the squeegee after each pass.
  • For serious dirt, try an oversized razor blade wet with soapy water.

7. Forget Formula 409; make this fabulous all-purpose cleaner.

8. Sanitize your toilet bowl safely.

To disinfect the toilet completely, wipe all surfaces with a cloth soaked in rubbing alcohol or with some of the alcohol-based hand cleaner available in stores.

9. Clean your kitchen floor the easy way. Don't try to disinfect it, says Findley. "Unless you disinfect your feet, disinfecting your floors serves no purpose." Instead, use these homemade floor cleaners:

  • Hardwood and laminated floors.
  • Marble, tile, and granite floors.
  • Linoleum floors
10. Clean out your washing machine and dryer.

Just About Anything...blah, blah, blah :-)!

I was busy doing some household chores today. And I am happy with what I have accomplished. Did the laundry...which means I have folded and put them away. Folding and putting away clean clothes doesn't happen all the time here at home, so for me it is a big deal. Normally, after I folded them, they stay where I have folded them :-). Then, done cleaning the kitchen and ran the dishwasher. The toilet is done, too! Now, I need to tidy the living and dining rooms up before packing our stuffs up for our trip to New Mexico on Friday. I will not be able to bloghop and visits you, guys for at least a week; so bear with me. I will be back next week, and promise to visit you then. Right now, I need to put my son to bed...and maybe update my blogs while watching Pinoy soaps when Jacob has fallen asleep already. See you in a little bit...and then, next week. Have a great spring break everyone! Wherever you, guys are going, have fun with your kids! Thanks for stopping by, sure appreciate it a lot!

Valentines Party Preparation

Today is laundry time for my house. I will be busy again today as usual. I need to clean the bathrooms also as well as the bedrooms. So I apologize for not being able to visit you yesterday and today. My husband is here, too and that means running some errands in the afternoon. Hay, no idea when these works will be done :-(. We will also be busy preparing for Valentines Party at church; as I mentioned last year we are the organizing committee, so I don't have excuse not to attend the party which am not really fond of ever since I got married; partying is over to me.
