Rainig all Night

Today, the weather men said that it is going to rain tonight until tomorrow morning. And they were right. It rained around 5:30 this afternoon and is still raining. I was wondering if they will announce that there will be no school tomorrow. I figure they will do that :-); and if they do that would be fun! We get to spend time together as family. Honestly speaking, we don't get much time to spend time as family because hubby works at night and my son is at school all day. When hubby is home, he is asleep when Jacob's gets home from school. They only spend about an hour or two and that's about it. This spring, we plan on going to see Grand Canyon in Arizona, and maybe visit my in-laws on the way home. I am already excited!

Family Night

Tonight is a family night at my son's school. I am not sure whether his Dad can go with us since Matt is still sick. He is on a liquid diet now since every time he eat solid foods, his stomach pain gets worst. I guess my son and I will be by ourselves tonight. Anyway, it will only be two hours, but still am not sure if I can leave my husband in his condition. We might not go this time...maybe next time. There will be more family nights anyway, plus I don't think my son could care less.

Seaworld Visit 2007

Since we knew that we will be moving out of state soon, we decided to visit Seaworld two years ago. We have had so much fun! Jake loves the Dolphins and the sea lions. He also loves the trains and wouldn't even want to leave the place even though it was already closing time. I am sure he would have so much fun once we go back again to Disneyland and we are hoping to go there before we finally move out of state again.

Our weekend Trip to Virginia Beach

This weekends, we went to Virginia Beach to send my Balikbayan Box to my family in the Philippines. Because we woke up late, it took a while before I finally finished packing the box up. It was like almost lunch time before we left home. We got there at 1:45 in the afternoon, ate our lunch at Filipino restaurant and then, headed to the Forex Office only to find out they closed at 3pm. Oh my, we were only 10 minutes late. Anyway, it was one of our plan to see the Chesapeake Bridge, a 30 minutes long drive bridge, but we didn't get the chance to do that, not even see the beach. We just hang out there talk with Filipinos and shop at Filipino Store. We still enjoyed our trip there though we didn't accomplish much. We will go back there this Saturday, and hopefully will see the beach and chesapeake bay bridge. No picutres taken, but 2 when we drove inside the tunnel.

Washington D.C. Tour

For some reason last minute plans works for us half of the time. Just like today, we went to Washington D.C. and visited Lincoln Memorial, White House and Washinton Monument. It was my first time to see it and second for my husband since he first visited the place when he was just a boy with his parents and siblings. He said a lot of things changed like the additon of World War 11 monument and Korean War Monument. We also saw the giant Christmas Tree. We all have fun considering it was very cold today. Still a lot of people went there today despite of the weather. Back home we Asian Store at Fairfak and met some Filipinos there. We bought some groceries in there also BalikBayan Box. The panned of going to IKEA didn't materialize because it was late already and we need to go home, and it is an hour and a half drive. Next time we go there, we will visit museums and the National Capitol for one day woudn't be enough if you plan to see them all. Anyway, I will post some pictures taken there tomorrow.
