Our Trip to Outer Banks, NC
It was a very nice experienced for us to climb this Lighthouse, the tallest in United States. I had a painful leg while going up...the 200 steps stair....but that was okay! My hubby on the other hand, went back at night to participate on the Full Moon Tours of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse the evening of Friday, May 8. What an experienced and privileged!
Climbing the historic Cape Hatteras Lighthouse is a unique experience! The lighthouse is open from the third Friday in April through Columbus Day. For more information on daylight climbing hours and fees, click here.
As a very special experience for the visiting public and local communities, the National Park Service will be offering Full Moon Tours of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse the evening of Friday, May 8. For more information on twilight climbing hours and fees, click here.
We spent a day and a night in Cape Pine Motel, swam at the seashore and toured the island of Hatteras
