His Funny Responsed

My son used to like going out with us. He enjoyed running errands with us or wherever hubby and I went. But not anymore. He loves to stay home now unless he wanted to buys something for himself such as toys, his fave food or playing with friends or going for a swimming.

One time hubby and I were craving for an ice cream for dessert after dinner. We told him to get dress so we can go to Braums for some ice cream and also to get some milk since were running out of it. Hubby and I just laughed when we saw him came out of his bedroom. He was wearing his pajamas. And when we asked way was he wearing his jammy, his answer was: because I don't want to go out...just want to stay home; you guys can go! Yup, that is his way of telling us that he wanted to stay home, lol! Good one, my son!

10 Hours is Gone :-(

I feel so bad for not being able to teach or should I say study with my son. We have been busy running errands and trying to settle in our new place and neighborhood. My son and I set aside at least two hours a day, 5 days a week study time in preparation for school this fall. I am so blessed with a son who is very patient and understanding when we are busy too busy to entertain him. Glad that we still able to spend time with him doing things we all enjoy like watching movie, shopping, trip to a friend's house, swimming lessons and playing. I promised my son and myself to make it up next week for the te10 hours we lost this week. Sorry son, we will do better next week, okay? Thanks and I love you.

Jake's New Hairdo!

My husband and I decided not to go to the barber shop for Jacob's haircut. We did cut his hair ourselves though it was against his will. He was so scared with the scissor that is why he was crying the whole time. But as soon as we have finished cutting his hair, he looked in front of the mirror and smiled. He liked his short hair :-)!

I think, he will never cry again next time! I am hoping so :-)!

Jake's First Day at School

He got up early, ate his breakfast and was ready for school. He didn't want to go at first, but as soon as we got inside the schoo,l he get excited and was happy when we left.

Outside our apartment.

In front of the school where he attended the overflow class since he was still on the waiting list.

Inside the classroom...

coloring and making lines...

....this was the inside the his room together with the other children who were also on the waiting lists. Jake attended Monday and Tuesday before they finally sent him and the rest of the other kids to the school where they will attend the class permanently. He is now attending Jess Harben which where we wanted him to be in the first place since 50% of the students are Asian.

A Day at the Mall

Jake posed with Tigger during one of the Kidgits spring activities at the mall last Saturday. He had fun playing with new friend at the playplace area.

As you can see, he is happy in the photo :-)! I am glad he looked on the camera this time.

Yes, You, I am Talking, too!

When Jacob was little still, he has this habit of pointing to something or someone every once in awhile. I think now that it is normal for kid his age; before I used to worry about him pointing fingers especially to a person for it is un ethical. Now, he doesn't do it anymore, thank goodness! Here are few of his photo caught in the act...got you!

Have your kid/kids have at some point in time did this pointing thing finger thing? Share it with us... thanks for reading this :-) and have a nice evening everyone!

Reminiscing the Past...

Every time I look at my son now, I just couldn't believe how time flies. He has grown so much in the past four years; and now he does all kinds of stuffs a boy his age do. I still call him my baby, anyway. Now, I miss him as a baby!
The other night, we've watched the collection of videos we took when he was still a baby. It was like watching a movie and we both felt like we have never seen the videos before. It was amazing the milestones Jacob went through!

I have a terrible headache yesterday due to allergy, so I decided to take a nap, while was I was sleeping, my son got very hungry, he wouldn't want to wake me up, so he went ahead and tried feeding himself, but he couldn't open the can of Ravioli, he went upstairs and asked me to open it for him. Here are the pix of him with the can of his fave food.
Man, this little man is sure can eat the whole can and still hungry!

Worried about His Finger!

Finally here comes another field trip

My son's second field trip for this year is on Friday, and I can not wait to be there for him and help chaperone the other children on his class. I am praying nothing happens that will stop us from going this time. I felt bad for my son last time he missed the first field trip. He was looking forward to that but becuase he got sicked, he missed it the chance and I ended up picking him up at school and both of us stayed home. Matt will be off from work that day and we decided that he follow us there and after the field trip we will go do something just for the whole family.

Jake's last years Birthday

Jake's birthday last year was celebrated with friends and relatives with
from Florida. Man, we have so much fun! Children and their fathers played games in the backyard, while monthers are inside eating, talking and singing karaoke :-). As you can see, he was singing here after the water gun fight outside; and in here he is wet.

My Little Man...Mommy's Little helper!

Jacob was enjoying a cookie he decorated at church during trunk or treat on the 29th of October.

These are funny pictues taken when we went to Pumpkin Patch; he was scared at first, but before we went back home, he decided he like it and so I took this one for his satisfaction.

This one was obviously yours truly; hubby didn't do good job here, it was far and wouldn't even recognize that it was me...

My poor little man, fell asleep on our way to Pumpkin Patch; but when I said here we are at the Pumpkin Patch...he immediately woke up! Funny wasn't it? I mean how kids woke up when they hear something they've been waiting to hear :-)

Pumpkin Pie...

It was last year picture taken after church. He loves the scarecrow so much that he asked me to take a snapshot of him. It's been a year now since and I can still remember his excitement when we made a pumpkin pie for him few hours later. Now, he can't wait till Hallowwen is over so we canmake pumpkin pie again :-)

Jacob can write his name now!

I have been waiting for my son to learn to write his name, at least his first name. I though it would take long. I was kind of getting impatient teaching him to write it lately, but out of nowhere while I was in front of the computer, he asked for a pen and paper and said he wanted to write his name by himself; and so I gave him what he needs. I was surprised when he showed me the paper with his name written on it! I grabbed my son and hugged him telling him that I am so proud of him! He was happy and gave me a kiss.

My Little Einstein...

One time I was loking for my eyeglasses and couldn't find it; then I saw Jacob was playing with it, I thought he looked so cute with my glasses , so I took pictures of him....
and these are the results....
he loves the pictures and how he looked like. Oh, I love my little man, my little einstein:-)

Kidgits Club Halloween Fun!

Jacob is invited for fun and games at the Virginia Commons Center Mall sponsored by Kidgits Club where he is a member. I hope we can go there on time for he also needs to go trick or treating in our neighborhood also. Oh boy! This little man of ours is going to be busy on Halloween :-). If you guys wants to join the club, just visit Simon's website. I assure you, your kids will going to have lots of fun and learning for a very cheap ($5) membership/year.

Jake wants to have pet....

He wanted to play with our neighbor's dog, but the dog couldn't because he was tied up. I am glad that Jacob stated to like animals and some bugs now. Before he wouldn't go near them; once he sees any animals walking or bugs creeping near him, he would just cling on my leg afraid he might be attack by dog or cat. He loves to go to the Zoo 'though and feed some animals like goat. He wants to have cat or dog, but I don't think he is ready for any responsibility associated with having pets, so I just pass that on for a while till he is old enough to take care of them.

Excited for Halloween...

Finally bought my son his costume for Halloween; and he loves it! He wanted Spider Man, but that darn Wal-mart doesn’t have the size that fits him. So, I bought the Batman instead, of course with his approval. Oh, boy! He couldn't wait till it's Halloween; he wears it everyday after school. Right now, he is wearing it and would like to sleep with the costume on. Funny, but cute I think :-) Anyway, hubby and I still thinking to whether we will buy costume for us :-).
