These were the pictures taken during summer time in 2005. Jacob was 11 months old then, and it was his first time to go swimming with his cousin and Uncle. As you can see, he was enjoying it. Last year we enrolled him at his school for his swimming lesson; he did like it even though you can see on his face that he was scared. Last summer, His Daddy started giving him a lesson and he freaked out wouldn't want to let go of his Dad. I hope it will be different this year, that he would get excited and finally learn to swim without fear!

I was watching them here in this picture :-). I didn't swim neither hubby because we didn't bring swim suits.

Mother and Son Bonding...
This is one of those times where Jacob and I bond. We hug, kiss, play and get silly while Daddy is enjoying taking pictures of us. In here we were playing "Sorry" board game after dinner :-). Oh, boy, this little guy here loves this game and can play it over and over again without getting tired.
Most of the time, we bond as family after supper; then read book with Jake afterwards. You know what's next, it's bed time :-)!

Home on New Year's Day!
My family and I decided to just stay home for New Year. So my son and I stayed home while hubby was at work. Yup, he has to work on New Years day and can't do anything about it. But he came home three hours early because he was bored and there was nothing to do there since the company is closing in less than two months. So I did a nice New Year's dinner for us since we didn't do anything for Christmas. I baked a 13 pound turkey in 2 and a ½ hours, can you believe that? I couldn't but it was than in such a short time. Then, made a coleslaw, green beans, corn on the cob and stuffing; well I forgot the cranberry sauce and a dessert :-)! We just have ice cream and sparkling cider. I think that was enough. Now, we have lots of left over turkey which I am planning to put some in the freezer. What about you, guys? What did you do today?

I missed riding bikes...
When I woke up this morning, my husband and son are gone. I didn't know where they went. I wished they would wake me up so I can go with them. I have been missing riding bikes with them which I am pretty sure is what they are doing right now. We have tandem bikes where we all can ride together on top of our own individual bikes. Anyway, I am sure hubby has a plan for us to do today as family. We decided not to go to the "Pig Roast" activity we do annually at church today. It is going to be crowded and we are not much of a crowd people, we will do different thing this time.

Gone fishing...
A picture of us together enjoying the cool breeze, while Matt was fishing at lake near home. Jake was not in the picture for he was busy playing with the teeny tiny fish I caught for him earlier, while he was crying and not wanting to set his feet on the water
