Perfect Worship Furniture

I really like the  worship furniture we use in the church where my family and I belong. It looks beautiful and feel comfortable to use as well especially the pews. The chairs and table on the siting rooms are made perfectly for the space. And those litle chairs for the children we use during Sunday school are so cute and sturdy. I wonder where the church purchased them. It would be nice it we can buy some folding chairs for our home. I think I need to ask our bishop for that, lol. I am sure he knows.

Yoga, One Good Form of Exercise

I heard that yoga is one way to keep our body lean and healthy. No wonder why a lot of people are doing it as a form of exercise. In fact, my cousin's husband used to be overweight, but when he started doing yoga, he lost a lot of weight! Amazing! Anyway, I am pretty sure that those who teaches yoga in their own shop purchased their equipment at a wholesale yoga equipment center. The sure got great deals. Just wondering how much capital do you need if you open a yoga classes. Yoga is pretty popular nowadays because it is a low impact exercise.

Clean and Safe Food Processing

When it comes to cleanliness and safety, most food manufacturers sure use an overall hygienic food processing equipment otherwise the food they make are not clean and safe to eat, thus making people or consumer sick.A USDA approved levelers is a must! Knowing that, makes me feel secure that the food I serve my family is safe to eat. But for some reason, every once in awhile, there are still food that doesn't meat he FDA standard thus creating more damage not only to the food manufacturers, but also to the consumers.

Such a Beautiful House!

Last night, we were at a friends dinner party. It was the first time that I accepted her invitation because I was always busy and the husband is always busy at work. We couldn't find a perfect time because our friend has different work schedule. Anyway, she has helped us a lot and we think of her as a part of our family.

She gave me a baby shower and lots of gifts when I gave birth to our son few years ago. She also helped my husband get his old job back, and we are so grateful for that. Last night, I finally saw her house and it was beautiful! The whole house was decorated well. It looks like she hired an interior decorator. Or she's gone to the best home decor stores and got an idea of how to decorate her house. I love, love her house aside from it is also huge! I didn't get to see the garage and the backyard for some reason, but husband told me they are both nice, too.

A New Moog Slim Phatty for my Brother!

My brother is really into musical instruments. He is not that good in singing but he can pay musical instruments. He and our eldest brother used to be a touring musicians. They got to do some DJ's job during parties, graduations, weddings, and other specials occasions that need sound systems. But those days are over now. Our eldest brother is now on internet business, while the otter one still on small time music touring. It would be nice if he could get himself an exciting moog slim phatty at Musicians friend that he can use as he continue his passion in music.

I Love Waverly Curtains

I sure do love to decorate our house. I love color coordinating, different texture and style. Right now, our living room is decorated with waverly curtains, colorful pillows and rugs. The contemporary style of our house makes it so different from the rests. It is quite unique and yet very attractive and simply admirable. Just like I said, I love a waverly curtains and so, you can find this curtain in every room in the house.

A Great Musical Instrument

I tell you, I was an avid fan of John Lennon when I was a teenager. I listened to his songs all the time. I even bought myself a shirt with his face drew in front of it. Crazy, but true! I am still a fan of all his songs even to this day. I remember singing hs song while my brother plays a guitar. We had so much fun! Anyway, it would be nice if I can get my brother a epiphone casino john lennon for Christmas present. I bet he would be surpried and happy. It's been years since he played a guitar. He can  use a great guitar such as this. I wish I could get him one this year.

His Doctor's Advice

Every time I call my Mom over the phone, she never fails to complain about my Dad's habit which is smoking. It drives me nuts! I wished he would stop smoking cause it is not good for his health. My Mom always tell me that he consumes at least a box of cigars a per and that is a lot. His doctor already advised him to stop because he has been coughing a lot. Though, he was tested and the x - ray was negative, he still needs to stop otherwise he would regret not listening to us and his doctor. Someday, when it is already too late. I still for him that he would come to his senses and stop!

Airport Lost and Found

One of the things I worry about when checking in my luggage at the airport is losing it. I have seen many people lost their luggage, and some of them never get it back! It would be a nightmare if this thing happens to me. So, I always pray that it will not be lost. Anyway, if you lost something at the airport, chances are they might be at the  Airport Lost and Found area. Before getting hysterical, just be calmed and head to the nearest lost and found. I found a website that talks about a certain airport in Florida where they keep all the lost luggage. They keep these stuff for a long time to make sure that when someone is looking for a pet, luggage, money, and etc....would be able to find it. Good to know that they don't get rid of them. Who knows, maybe one of your lost luggage is there :-).

Trusted Online Chat

One of the great things about having a computer with internet access is that you can actually chat with other people over the internet. Chatting over the internet is a great way to meet interesting and exciting new people, learn new things, and have fun at the same time. Some places offer chatting for a fee but it turns out that there are actually free chat sites available that are great because they do not cost you anything at all. At Loke dot com they have free chat rooms for everyone; they even have a chat room for kids I think one of the great things about chat rooms is that you can meet interesting and new people that live in your area, but at the same time you can meet people around the world which I believe is great because you can learn a lot from other people outside of the country. Who knows, you could also meet someone special over the internet, in this day in age it is quite possible thanks to all of the new technology that is around us. Keep in mind that Loke dot com also allows you to view other people’s web cams and also they can see your webcams as well which is great because unlike telephone calls, you can actually see who you are talking to. I personally like the fact that they have a game room so you can actually challenge other people to exciting and challenging games over the internet. Remember that with Loke dot com there is no downloads, no sign ups required, and of course it is absolutely free to chat live with other people. So what are you waiting for, why not check out Loke dot com today and start meeting new and interesting people over the internet, you will definitely be glad that you did!

Web Design Cost Calculator

Having multiples website, it is very costly for me to have it redesign all at the same time. I can only do maybe one or two at a time. Good thing I've found a website that can cater the need of my six website. This site can help me not only with my wed designs, but also my budget. Web Design Cost is very crucial with my website because I am so particular on certain things. The look of my website is critical not only to the people who visit them, but also to the advertisers where I basically get my extra income. With the website I've found, I don't have to worry about money or budget for that matter because they offer hourly rate, packages, rates, as well as per page cost. How cool is that? They even offer great price on projects. All I need to do is go to their website, and use they web design cost calculator, and walla...I'll know exactly the exact cost of my website designs. I like this site a lot!

Wedding Anniversary Gift for Hubby

In just a couple of days, husband and I will be celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary. This year, we decided to celebrate it by going for a dinner at a Japanese restaurant. We normally do it before or after the exact date we are married due to his work schedule. But this year, we would go for a date on the day of our anniversary which only happens once in a blue moon. Anyway, I am thinking of getting him a gift though I know he doesn't want any gift. I thought of buying him a Swiss watch by raymond weil, but our budget is kind of tight these few months. Maybe I'll get this watch next year. For now, I'll just get him few clothing that he really needed badly. A card and his fave chocolate would be a great addition to the said gift he's getting this week :-).

My New Rechargeable Batteries

It is really embarrassing when you are in the middle of taking pictures and suddenly your digital camera goes off because it’s low battery.  I experienced that few times before until I switched to using rechargeable batteries.  What a relief because I do not have to buy batteries, which I can say that costs me a lot of bucks.

With my new rechargeable batteries, I know that they have long lasting battery life.  And I can take pictures on my camera for long period of time without losing power.  There is truly a big difference.  Rechargeable batteries are highly recommended.  And if you want to switch now, find eneloop here.

Musical Film

I was browsing channels on my television then I saw a musical film on TCM.  The main star was my favorite Hollywood actress singing on stage.  She looked very lovely while performing her piece wearing an elegant pink gown.  The musicians behind her lively played their musical instruments, inspired and mesmerized by the moment.

In the movie, the audience were in awe watching the performers on stage.  The music was very lively and encouraging.  So some folks stood up and danced happily.  When the lovely actress began singing a mellow song, everybody silently listened like they were enchanted.  And they gave her a standing Ovation with a round of applause after an astounding performance.

Samurai Games

Growing up in the 80s is fun. Well, I am in grade school those years and play time is a big deal to me. I always have fun playing with my siblings and friends in our neighborhood. Seems like life is easy during that time. Me, my siblings, and my friends were fascinated with superhero shows back then particularly with the Japanese shows. We loved the group of characters and the theme of the show. We even played pretend based on these. We enjoyed playing karate and ninja games. I cannot find those types of superhero shows on television now. And if lucky, I can find some on the Internet and try to watch them again.

Some people do not enjoy watching superhero shows on television. They rather play online games like samurai. This game requires strategy and tricks. It is the fascination to the Japanese fiction that draws them to enjoy this type of game on the Internet. I do not really know how but sure they are having fun with it. To others, it becomes part of their lifestyle. Playing online games is their way of relaxing and relieving stress from work. And if they really are into it, they get very anxious to come home to play. Because they get to interact with other players too. In some cases, they get to meet new friends from other parts of the world. That sounds interesting. It’s like playing the game with friends beside you.

The Internet has brought us big advantage on connecting family and friends. Networking works on things like  online games. Sometimes you get attached to it that you would like to recommend a game to someone. Well, that’s how it goes. New online games are developed every year and online gamers always watch out for those.

An Entertaining Online Game

I have never been a sports person. I do not even follow sport game series on television. Some of my family and friends are fascinated with ball games. They also play ball games online. Somehow playing online games entertain them. Well, I find it entertaining too. But with my hectic schedules, tapping on the computer just takes a couple of hours. Yeah, right!

A friend told me that he liked playing soccer games online. There’s a particular player he liked named ronaldo, whose character name is from the famous Brazilian soccer player. It’s funny how my friend got hooked on this online game. Whenever we get the chance to get-together, he shows me how he played the game. It is kind of funny to me. Looking at the cartoon players running and kicking the ball is seems hilarious. But he said it’s fun.

There is now way we can stop computer technology and the Internet from growing. We have to admit that this is part of our future now. The Internet has a big influence to our daily lives. Even a toddler knows how to manipulate a keyboard or a touch-screen tablet. So no doubt that in an early age, kids know how to play computer games online.

I do not have any game installed in my computer. I am very picky though. Just because I do no have it, I am not open to getting one. There is a chance I might try playing online games. It is not bad to get to play online games once in a while. It does not have to be constant. Everything has to be in moderation. We have different ways of relieving stress. Playing online games, going to a recreation center, participating in outdoor games, or even just watching television in order to relieve stress is fine.

On Personal Style and Looking Great

Being a girl has lots of privileges.  We can wear purses, high-heeled shoes, sexy sandals, hair bows, and bikinis.  J  In addition, we can put on makeup as we please.  Being in the family of mostly girls, our home is filled with bright colors.  My mother likes buying us pretty clothes.  And because she liked making her nails look neat, she does manicure and pedicure herself.  Unlike my youngest sister, I do not have the talent.  She does her manicure and pedicure using some ideas from nail polish games that she is playing on the Internet.  My sister comes up with nice looking  and stylish nail colors.  In fact, she polished her finger nails with a design inspired by the game as part of her look on their Cheer Dance competition two weeks ago.  She got compliments on that.

Like my sisters, I like to look presentable in public and I try my best incorporate the things I wear.  Of course, it all depends on my mood you know.  Girly online games like nail polish games and graffiti games can be helpful when it comes to personal styling and fashion.  Playing the dress up game can give us important reference on proper get-up.  Though each girl has her own fashion sense, online dress up games can add to the excitement on wearing appropriate clothing in every occasion or season.  Among the girly games that I tried playing online, I like dress up game better.  Some girls may find it boring but it’s not to me.

Actually, looking great and feeling great with yourself require a simple effort from within.  So far I am making progress with  I think. J  Thanks to some references online.  Positive outlook and self-confidence bring a good result on getting ourselves to looking good.  Still to me, simplicity is beauty.

Online Real Estate Auction for Investors and Individuals

With the economic downturn, many businesses, companies and even individuals were affected. Many people have lost their jobs and their homes. Many were unable to pay their mortgages which resulted to foreclosures. But with foreclosures left and right, real estate companies have somehow benefited from it and have taken advantage of the situation. Houses are sold at lower prices and affordable. Even though real estate companies are also affected with the economic crisis, they find ways to generate income by selling properties at affordable prices.

A Real Estate Auctions is one way to advertise such sales and inform the public of recent foreclosures. For a wider reach and audience, an Online Foreclosure Auctions is set up so that individuals or companies from near and far or abroad can participate and bid on the real estate properties being auctioned. In this way, those who are planning to buy a house or a property but cannot afford to so, now have the opportunity to grab one and own a house. The company that has pioneered this is NIAX.com. They have tools that will provide detailed information of a particular asset, therefore giving the investors more knowledge and assisting them in their investment decision. With all the resources laid flat for the investors, it is easier to find, research or evaluate, negotiate, and purchase an asset. NIAX.com has an online auction platform that is very efficient and providing a transparent way to market properties. The website allows individuals to engage in the auction of real properties such as residential, commercial, lots and other assets. They are given tools that will help them decide for their investment.

With this transparency, many individuals, companies and business entities now have the chance to invest in foreclosed properties and assets which are usually done between real estate companies and banks and other institutions.

Tanning the Cheaper Way

Some people want to achieve a golden brown skin so they spend a hefty amount of money and travel to the tropics and bask in the sun all day long just to get the perfect tan. But the harmful rays of the sun can be a health hazard, so some resort to tanning the scientific and technical way. There are tanning bed supplies at the Tanning Store where one can buy and use at home, without even spending a lot. There are various sprays and supplies to suit the needs of those who want to get that wonderful perfect color. There is no need to go to the tropics or travel far, just at the comforts of your own home, you can already get a tan.

Keeping Our Kids Safe in the House

Kids naturally love to play and most of the time, they leave some sort of “damage” or mess when they play. Some parents have made ways to keep their appliances or things away from the children’s reach so as to prevent damage. Some have mounting bracket for tv so that children won’t pick on this appliance and play with the buttons. Others purposely buy wall-mounted televisions, have placed safety locks in their staircases and even in small appliances. Children are curious and they inspect almost everything that surrounds them. It is their way of knowing that they are separate individuals. Parents should also keep in mind the safety of their children while they are playing and these are just the few of the many things parents can do to have a safe environment for the children.

Racing for the Future

One of the most common child fantasies is to become a racing car driver and ride in the fastest car in the world. Many children love to play with toy cars and race with their playmates. Boys usually play car games and collect toy cars. Aside from playing with toy cars, boys also like to play computercar games . There are hundreds of racing car games that can be played online where they can race against the computer or their friends. One of these websites is racingtop where kids can select from the many different types of racing games. There are motor racing games, driving games, truck games, parking games, drifting games and many more. With the many choices, kids can surely enjoy racing with their friends or try hard to defeat and beat their opponents.

Aside from computer racing games, they are also influenced by watching real races on TV or in race tracks. Schools also try to incorporate racing games or relays, not only with the use of toy cars, to give the children the idea of how race and relays works and let them know that in every competition, there is a winner and a loser. With these kinds of games, children will develop patience, hard work and perseverance. When they see their opponents ahead of them, they would do their best to beat them.

Perhaps becoming a race car driver is not an easy task as it is also a very risky and dangerous job. A small or minute mistake or miscalculation can lead into a disaster. But with the high technology and innovations in car manufacturing, racing cars have become safer and has raised the standards of racing even higher.
So if your kids are into racing and car games now, they are most likely wanting to experience the real race in the real world.

The Tetris Game

One of the most popular games that have been developed is the Tetris. Many can say that they have become addicted to playing this fun game. It has been the leading game among all the other online games that are in the world wide web. Tetris is a matching puzzle game that captivated the many game aficionados and the world. The tetrisk game has also evolved and have adapted to the technological advancements that is happening around and have also joined the bandwagon of innovating it into a 3D and an online game.

Because of this, many can now play free tetris games online, as long as there is access to the Internet, one can play continuously and enjoy this stimulating game. There is also a 3d tetris game that has been developed and will surely enhance the player’s problem-solving skills. Since the Tetris game is a puzzle game, it is more appropriate for children as it does not expose them to violence, death or killing unlike those other online games. There are many kinds of Tetris game online and players can choose from a wide range of games such as Funny Tetris, Sonic Tetris, Diamond Tetris, Mario Tetris, Tetris Egypt, Tetris 3d and even a Simpson Tetris. Parents can also play Tetris with their kids as it can help the little ones enhance their critical thinking and problem-solving skills. It will teach them to find ways to reach for a certain goal the fun way.

On the Look for a Musical Instrument

When I was in grade school, I actively participated both academically and athletically at school. I like to compete with my fellow students. And I excelled in that. I was a studios person then. The one thing I never got the chance to do is learn to play with musical instruments. I know it isn't too late yet to learn, but for now, I'd like my son to learn to play a piano, guitar, and clarinet. I know clarinet is expensive that is why I keep my eyes on a bargain at a local FTE. And the other day, I was lucky enough to find a used bundy clarinet. It was 200 bucks, but I think it is still a pretty good deal compared to a new one. Anyway, really want to get it for my son, but needs to speak with my husband still so we can decide to get it now or wait till we come back from our trip to NM.

Exciting Trip with Grandparents

Before the school starts this month, my family and I decided to take a week vacation at my in-law's place in New Mexico. It's going to be a long drive about 12 hours one way. Though I'll be sitting most of the time, I am pretty sure I am going to be tired. I might be needing a neck pillow to support my neck in case I fall asleep which I always do, lol. My son and husband have already neck pillows of their own so they are good to go. On the other hand, I am going to buy myself one in one of our stop for gasoline. Hopefully, they won't charge me much for it. Oh man, I just couldn't wait for our trip. I am excited for my son who will go on camping with his grandparents in their RV. It would be a fun experience for him. Oh boy, he gets to ride the Rv before my in- laws sell this recreational vehicles.

An Oganize Garage

Trying to organize thing is not an easy task especially if you have limited storage. A good organization skill is the key.  Looking at my husband's garage makes me mad sometimes. His stuffs are everywhere. And if I need something in the garage, I couldn't find it or took sometime before I finally found it. He needs to buy  spacers for his drawers and cabinets so that his stuffs especially the small ones that we always use such us screws, nails, thumb tasks, and etc. These small but necessary things are driving me nuts when I need to sort them out every time I need one of them. It will make our life a little bit easier if only husband organize his things inside the garage or do we need to call someone to do it for us. No way, I'd pay someone to organize our garage; and it isn't my job either :-(.

Maximizing Our Storage Space

Preparing for emergency is one thing my family and I give so much importance when it come short and long time investments on top of our physical and spiritual well - being. That is why when you come to my house, you will notice that our pantry/utility room is full of canned foods and none perishable items. We always make sure that when a calamity arises, we are prepared and are at peace knowing that we have everything on hand. By so doing, we are now running out of space. I need to start do the  racking technique to insure that we have plenty space to move around the utility room/pantry. We need to buy at least two racks for our pantry and garage. I just need to do some research on where to find a store that offers great deals or discount on racks.

Our Dream Helicopter Swing Chairs

Even though we live in the area when it is very hot on summer time, we still want to live her or even retire her someday. It is hot on summer, but the rest of the year, it is really very nice in this part of Texas. We love gardening, spend time in the backyard with our little boy and our dog named, Pumpkin. Our yard is big enough for vegetables garden, a picnic table (made by my very own handyman, my husband), a fire pit, and maybe a couple of Helicopter Swing Chair. I really like this chair because it is kind of cool and very unique. And it is very easy to assemble, too. We don't need to hire someone to assemble it for us.

Once we have these helicopter swing chairs, I am pretty sure, we would spend more time in our backyard reading our favorite books, talking, enjoying the pretty sky and the moon at night. Waiting for the food grilling, sitting on the unique chair would be a treat! Our son would really get a kick on it....and maybe the dog, too!

Anyway. As I browse the website who sell this helicopter swing chair, I noticed they also sell helicopter swing seat cover to protect the chair from sun and rain when not in use. How cool is that? It's a one stop shop! I love it. I couldn't wait to see this chair in our backyard someday soon.

Website that Makes Our Life Easier

Almost a year ago, my laptop/computer just crashed big time. The monitor or screen was totally black. It wouldn't do whatever we need to do. We clicked everything, but it  remained black. I was so worried that we will going to lose important documents and photos. I asked my husband to fix it for, an he did. Unfortunately we were able to transfer them on the cd. When it is time for us to check the photos, it would let us. Our hard worked fixing the computer and saving important stuff were useless. We spoke to some people at appliance and electronic stores, but all of them told us that it will be impossible for us to photos back to our computer. Despite of that, we didn't lose hope. We know it can be fixed. And so, we looked online and found  a website where service center can be located near the city or within the city where we live. It's great to have found this website because they have listed all service center locator of various companies in U.S.A., and are subdivided alphabetically. How cool is that? Make our life easier.

Too Many Gifts!

My son's birthday is coming very soon. He want s to have a birthday party again. He likes his friends to be there, and of course, some gifts. He kept telling us what he wants and it's a lot! His lists include: aquarium, new bike, a set of scriptures, pet (dog), nerf gun, and who knows what else in his mind, lol. Man, if we will buy all these, our wallet would be broken. One thing for sure, the aquarium is the most expensive if them all. I can only imagine the thing we will need to buy when we do. Just the fish alone is quite expensive, not to mention the accessories such as hayward salt cell, rocks, plats and etc. he maintenance is another...whew, just thinking about this one particular gift made me dizzy. I wish I have enough money to buy them all. Maybe if I win a lotto...oh wait! I will never win since I don't buy a ticket, lol. Oh well, he needs to learn that he can't have all he wants, period.

A Guitar, Perfect Enough for Us

Last weekend, our family friend and us went to a flea market in Canton, TX. We like this particular flea market for it is huge. Huge enough that you need to spend at least a day to really see all of it. Anyway, we have brought our kids with us and you know what happens next. They will ask us to but them 'this and that.' Okay, I wasn't going to give in to my son's pleading to buy him the collectors item which is the Star Trek character. But as soon as I turned around, husband bought it! I don't really like it when he buys thing our son doesn't really need especially when he would only play with it once and then, gone. Anyway, when my friend's boy saw it, the boy started to bug his Mom and Dad to get him something, too. The boy didn't stop till he gets what he wanted. But, the parents didn't buy the little guitar he so desire. His parents said that a big guitar like martin d 28 would be the perfect guitar for him because he can even use it when he is old enough to play with it. I agree wit his parents. We have a Martin D 28 and my son plays it when he wants to.  I like it for it is big enough to be played by both young and adults alike....and the sound is great!

Switching Insurance Company

My husband and I have been talking about switching insurance company for awhile now. For whatever reason, the insurance company we have right now decided that they would increase our monthly mortgage payment to $50 more. That is too much and I don't think we would be able to pay more than we are paying right now. So, we started looking for an insurance company. With many insurance companies around, it is not easy for us to find the one we were looking for. It's like finding a company that will help with annuity payments; the harder, the more choices to choose from. So, we need to be careful in selecting a company that will surely meet our needs. We really need to find one soon for they already charging us more for a couple of months now, ugggh!

Looking for Father's Day Gift

I have been looking for a gift to be given to my husband for Father's Day tomorrow. And so the other day, I went to the mall with my son to buy husband something he would like to have, but no luck. On the way out of the mall, my son saw this huge chocolate chip cookies for Father's Day, but I couldn't believe how pricey it was! Nope, I didn't buy it. I thought of making one myself, and have my son decorate it. It's hubby's fave cookie, but is not healthy for him to eat especially now that he is on a diet. I'll make it anyway....for my son, lol. I just hope I could have gone to www.bakersgas.com. This website I just checked has tons of stuffs my husband would like to get. I guess, it's not too late to order something for hubby on this site. "Better late than never" as they say :-).

Importance Device

My husband and I love adventure. We go to places we've never been to. We drive and drive and sometimes we don't know where we are going. We don't mind it before, but now that the price of gas is sky rocketing, we can't afford to waste money. I just wished we bought the gps at Bass Pro when we received a $75 gift card from timeshare about six months ago. We almost got that gps, but we changed our minds for it was very expensive. We thought that if we go to other store, we would save some money. We were wrong. Now, the gift card is gone :-(. Next time we get the chance, we need to buy one coupled with gps locator. This would be beneficial to us in the long run especially the gps locator when my son starts driving in 8 years time :-). I know it is still a long time, but it would be great to have on still.

Jacob and His Friend, Aaron

My son, Jacob loves to swim. As you can see in this photo that I took when he was swimming with his friend, Aaron at the community swimming pool. He can swim, but only like a dog. He needs to attend more swimming lessons before he can finally swim the right way. That is why every summer for the last three years, we enroll him for at least one lesson.

Today, we enrolled him again, but this time in Terrell because the community swimming pool doesn't do the swim lessons anymore. I don't know why they stopped it this summer. Anyway, hopefully, this time he will gain more confidence swimming and eventually be able to jump on the pool bravely. Aaron on the other hand  didn't enroll for the lesson this year because they are on vacation for a month.

Finding Activities for My Son This Summer

Summer is time for the children to relax and not worry about school homework and stuffs. So far, he is having fun being home all the time, and doing things he loves to do like swimming, playing with his very own first pet, named 'Pumpkin.' He loves walking his dog everyday. On top of that, he is also busy making books, drawing, and helping me around the house. Just yesterday, we have enjoyed camping in one of Texas state parks. The Cooper Lake State Park is really a neat place to camp. We went swimming, fishing, hiking, and driving around the little town of Sulfur Springs. We thought it was a neat place to retire. Anyway, I have been looking for a website where I can find things to do to make my son's mind and body be occupied for the rest of the summer in case he starts to same "Mommy, I'm bored." While surfing the net, I came across  http://www.carangel.org/, and thought about  a fellow church member who is in need of  new car. Their old car does work but it was too small for the big family. Maybe they can donate their car to this website after they've found a new replacement to their old car. It would be neat if they are willing to do that.

Meet Pumpkin, the New Member of the Family

Isn't she adorable? We love this pretty nice and friendly dog. The moment we saw her on the picture, we all fell in love with her. So, we decided to take her. Pumpkin lives in Richardson for almost 7 years. But for many reasons, the owner decided to part with her. The couple are expecting twin babies and it is too much for her handle a toddler, twins and a dog. They said, they don't want to do it...but they need to do it because aside from the said reason, Pumpkin causes allergy to their little girl.

Anyway, to make the story short, we met the owners, and took Pumpkin home. So far, we are so happy to have her in our home as new family member. We love her, and we think that she is happy with us, too though sometimes we think that she misses her old family/owner. Hope she will be able to be completely happy and open to us as her new family/owner.

Unplanned Vacation this Summer

Summer time is fast approaching, I can't help but feel sad. I two days, the school is over. How I wish we could see my brother in -law and his family who lives in North Carolina. They wanted to see us again, too but both our family didn't plan anything for this summer together. Spending time together is quite hard for all of us money wise. We live in TX and them in NC. Driving there is not even an option since husband can take some time off to work since we already went to Utah last month. Anyway, despite of that, I still look for the cheapest hotel we can stay to in case we come up with money to spend for the unplanned vacation. It was funny because I found some  nc lawyers, too while I was in searched for hotels and car rental company.

Story Book Parade

Last week, we really enjoyed watching the annual story book parade at my son's school. Each grade have had a theme to present to. This year, the second grader wore something like the "pig kahuna". Most of the kids wore flip flops, modest swim wear and few of them wore sunglasses and brought surf board. I really love the school staff with their theme "itchy, itchy chicken fox." The "Fancy Nancy" is the cutest one though. Anyway, as always the marching band played some using their art tube pac. They band played perfectly. How I wish my son is old enough to join the marching band at his school. It would be fun for him to be part of it, just like his Dad who was in the band when he was a kid.

Happy Birthday, Inang (Mom)

Today is my mother's birthday and I got the chance of talking to her over the phone. She is already 74 year old and still strong and full of energy. I really admire her for being such a hard working person, thoughtful, understanding, giving, and for being selfless. I couldn't ask for a better Mom than her though she is far away from me. I can still feel her love to me and my siblings.

With her only grandson, Jacob and youngest granddaughter, Ara.

Anyway, I did talk with my father, too. And I am glad to know that he is doing better now than the last time I hope to him. Both of them sounded happy to hear my voice and vice versa. I miss them both so much; how I wish I could fly right now and to be with them. Unfortunately, I don't have enough money to buy plane tickets, pocket money and some spare money to give or help them with. I really need to save every penny if I have to see them Christmas of next year. To my Mom, I wish you can ready this, just want you to know that I love and miss you and Dad so much.

Great Discount on Office Furniture

Shopping for a new scanner/printer can be overwhelming sometimes. With all the brand name to choose from, choosing the best one not an easy task. We went to two office store/shop before we found the one we think is best for our need and budget. I am glad that hubby put it into work right away. Now, what do we do with the old one? I think my brother can use it in his internet cafe, and that can give him extra income. It's will not be wasted after all. The office store we went to also sell home office desks, other office furniture, office desks. They even offer discount office furniture for a limited time. If we only need an office furniture, we could have bought one for a cheaper price. Oh well, maybe next time...hopefully they offer great discount again.

Wishing He Would Love Reading

Here is my son, Jacob reading his Book of Mormon. I really like seeing him read his scriptures because this little guy hates to read. I just wished he would read without being told especially his 20 minutes reading time each day on top of his weekly guided reading.

Husband and I read to him, too every morning before Jacob goes to school so far is doing well. I read a lot, too but not the regular books, but online. Hubby reads a lot as well.

File an Actos Lawsuit Now!

Being diabetic is not fun at all. I was diagnosed with type2 diabetes about four years ago and to tell you I am still on a saga. At first, my doctor prescribed me with an oral medication to treat it. It worked for a little while. The, my A!C got out of control that I have to take an insulin which I really didn't want because I hate needles. And so, my husband has to give me a shot at least once a day. Now, my blood glucose is under control now. Hopefully, someday soon, I'll be insulin free. Anyway, for those diabetic who took an actos to control their diabetes and have gotten bad side effect, you can file an actos lawsuit. This is necessary so that the makers of the said medicine takes responsibility for the damage it did to you and your health. You have to act now!

Too May Things To Do, So Little Time

I've got a lot of things to do today like laundry, putting away clean clothes that has been sitting in the laundry baskets for weeks now, dust furniture, mop floors, clean bathrooms, change bedding, clean refrigerator, microwave, oven and washing the windows. Just thinking about these chores makes me tired. But I don't have any choice but do them before my in-laws get here on Saturday noon. I still need to go for a walk. Oh man, I can use some hands, but oh well....I don't have to finish all of them today. I still have one more day which would be tomorrow. Hopefully, by tomorrow, all are done so hubby and I can go grocery shopping. Too many things to do, so little time. Oh and I still need to finish some opps/tasks before they expire today.

Annual Kidney Check Up

The other day was my annual exam for my kidney transplant. The lady drew 10 tubes of blood from me. I didn't realize that till I counted the tubes and I was like, really? Ten tubes of blood is a lot! Oh, well I guess they need more blood than I thought. I also submitted a 24 hour urine collection. After the lab work is done, I headed to x ray, ekc and sonogram which are normal procedures to check the status of the kidneys. Anyway, with all the things that was going on with me that day, I thought of my Aunt who works at Walmart in Florida. She probably had her blood testing Orlando FL. She said they also did blood tests as one of the requirement before she started her job there. I am glad she passed the blood works and stuffs.

European Car, My Kind of Car!

I sure like European cars like Audi and BMW. I think they are kind of cute and really well made and reliable. Buying a  “Used Audi" or  “Used BMW" is the best way to buy a car for it is less expensive and you get what you want for it is still runs like a new car. Anyway, if you live in U.K. and would like to purchase Used Cars, you should click the links provided here. On this website you'll find the car you are looking for. Finding the car is easy for they have plenty of models and make to choose from, from Audi to BMW they've got you cover. How I wished I live there so I can buy the European car I want like the BMW. O well, maybe someday when I have the means to buy it and have it ship here in United States :-).

My Productive Day

Today, I made myself busy doing things that I have neglected doing for years. First I did walk for 30 minutes on the treadmill, and exercising using ball for 10 minutes, plus I have been busy cooking meals for dinner. I felt good not spending too much time in front of my computer. Being a couch potato added as much weight I could add in my body. Now, I decided to make my everyday productive from now on. I am so glad my husband has been understanding and supportive of me. I love him and loves me more by letting me do the things I want to do without questions and I feel very lucky for that. I hope and pray that I can continue doing what is right for my health and well being. I know I can do it for I have done this before.

A Need to Lose Weight Safely

When it comes to weight loss, I always like to lose weight safely. On the other hand, my husband is the opposite of me. He thinks skipping meals is one way to lose weight fat! And I don't agree with that. I just think skipping meals is wrong. It is dangerous to ones health; Oh well, I did my part to tell him he is wrong, but still he continue to skip at least a meal a day. No wonder why he has hard time losing weight because his way is not only right but ineffective.

I joined this biggest loser competition that started two days ago and I was hoping to lose at least 8% of my current body weight. And If I loss that 8% or more, then I would win a $1,000! Yes, what a great way to lose weight. My husband is all over me saying that I need to win this. So he kept cheering me up to go and go more exercise and eat sensible meals. I hope and pray to win, not because of the money, but because it would be good for my over all health and well being. If I win, good...and if not it's fine, too at least I loss a lot of weight.

I Love Our Honeycomd Shades

Almost three years ago, we purchase a newly built house in the East part of Dallas. We had the chance of choosing our own floor, windows treatments, and did a lot of updates before the builder finally built it. Husband and I were overwhelmed with many choices to make. Not to mention the appliances and mortgage company as well as home insurance. But it was all worth it now when we think back of all the things we went through. We are now happy and satisfied homeowners of a new house. As we all know, summer here in Texas is crazy. Anyway, the temperature goes up to 3 digits and it can be very, very hot. Good thing even though it was kind of expensive, hubby and I decided to install honeycomb shades on almost all the windows in our home because we wanted to save money from electric bill. So far, our electric bills is always lower than we used to pay when we were still living in the north part of Texas. I am glad we are enjoying the cool temperature in the comfort of our own home without getting broke.

Proline, an Important Part of Musician's Life

For the firs time in my life, I was able to see our church leader spoke in person when we attended the Semi - Annual General Conference for LDS church. It was my first time also to see the Mormon Tabernacle choir sung live.  I can not describe my feeling when Pres. Monson enter the conference room, the spirit was very strong and everyone was so quit. And when he spoke, he spoke with spirit and power from on high. The Mormon Tabernacle choir sung angelically. Oh man, it was an amazing experienced for me and my family. When the choir sung I notice they have many musicians in front playing musical instruments. Each uses proline. I wonder where the church bought those prolines; they looks neatly. Also in every chapel we have at least three prolines. Indeed, the church spend a lot of money in terms of musical and stuffs like that.

He Needs A New Car

My husband's car which is Toyota Avalon is already old but is still running well, except lately, he told me has has been hard time starting it. Probably it needs a spark plug replacement which is by the way very expensive to be replaced. I joke about him that he needs a new car for his car is like 12 year old! He said he will try to replace the spark plug himself, all he needs to do is figure out how to do it himself just so we can save money. I trust my husband that he can do it. He is a handyman and we hardly hire someone to do a lot of house repair, and car job for he does everything. He is a genius, too! I hope we can get an affordable car loan when it is time for us to trade that old car into a new one. I heard that car title loans Massachusetts is great. If only we live there, then we would be able afford to buy a new car now without second thoughts. Oh well, I think we just needs to be patient and pretty sure we would have some saving when the right time comes.

Cufflinks for Hubby

During our trip to Utah last week, I almost bought my husband cufflinks, but he couldn't find the ones he likes. So, I bought him a tie tack instead. My son got one as well a baseball with the "ctr" on curved on it. Actually both tie tacks are kind of cute. I purchased few things for myself, too. I got myself a couple of necklaces, and a bell for my bell collections :-). Anyway, I would look for cufflinks at redenvelope's cufflinks page, and I am pretty sure I'd be able to find the one he likes. I have been to their website before and I remembered seeing cufflinks, tie tacks and etc...there.

Nice Accessory for their Motorbikes

As a birthday present for his daughter, my brother bought my niece a motorbike she can use as she travels from home to school. At first, I was like 'what?' What were you thinking? Don't you think it is dangerous for her to ride a motorbike on such a busy road? Then, my niece told me that she is only going to ride it around the campus. Then, finally I was able to breath normally, lol. I think she needs a  cortech sport saddlebags for her motorbike. Her can use one, too for his motorcycle.Alright, since this thing s not cheap, I need to start saving so that I can but both of them these accessories for their motorbike and motorcycle. Sounds like a good plan, don't you think? Hopefully, I will have enough before Christmas is here.

The Need to Learn Things on My Own

It's tax filing time again; and if you need some help regarding tax preparation, you need to contact an accounting firm just like the accounting raleigh nc. They can help you with you tax problems and stuffs like that. I need to tell my friend about it since she lives near NC. I really want to help her, but being miles away from her, I can only refer her to this firm. I am glad I don't have to do our tax since my husband does this instead of me. Sometimes unexpected things happen and I need to learn to do this myself and not be totally dependent on my husband. You'll never know what will happen next, right?

Ways to Stay Looking Young

As 30 has come and gone and 40 creeps up on me, I’ve been thinking a lot about the best ways to keep my look fresh. Our culture is certainly youth-obsessed and everyone likes to look their best. However, it’s also important to explore your style and look in a way that reflects your true self, rather than the latest runway trend. Here are some tips for looking as good as you feel:

Protect and Love Your Skin

It’s easy to think that a new eye shadow or better blush will make your skin look better, and it might. But it’s also important to focus on the bare bones of skin health and protection. Often, as we get older, we fall into a skin care routine that we developed at a younger age. It’s time to stop and think about the products you’re using and if they’re really doing as much for your skin as you’d like.
Personally, I’ve struggled with adult acne and, until about a year ago was using an acne-fighting cleanser on my whole face. I hadn’t realized the drying effects this had until I stopped using it for a week; my fine lines and wrinkles were much less apparent as the drying effects of the cleanser subsided.
Your own skin’s issues might be different, but a little scrutiny can help you identify problems that the products you’re using might actually be exacerbating. Personally, I prefer gentle cleansers, such as Neutrogena’s natural line or even Johnson & Johnson’s baby wash, paired with a sensitive skin moisturizer with sun protection, like something from Oil of Olay. Facials with extractions from a cosmetology professional every few months can help clear up chronically clogged pores. A spot treatment for acne, such as Persa-Gel 10 can be a better bet than an acne-specific face wash.

Play on Popular Styles

While we all have our own individual styles, it’s fun to keep up with trends as they come and go. As I get older, I’m realizing that true style consciousness doesn’t necessarily mean adopting every single look I see on the runway. It means selecting pieces and accents that fit my current style and my professional life. For example, this spring, chunky, ankle-strap white heels are all the rage, and these are something I can easily adopt into my wardrobe; long, see-through embroidered gowns – not so much.

Invest in a Quality Foundation

Drugstore foundation has its place, but the skin of the adult woman isn’t it. I know that high-quality foundation is expensive – costing $40 and up for a little bottle, but trust me, it’s worth it (and it will last a while). The professionals in Sephora and high-end department stores can also help you find the perfect match for your tone and color, which you definitely can’t do at the neighborhood pharmacy or grocery store. I personally like the brand Makeup Forever HD, but there are many good options out there.

Love Your Muscles

Incorporating light yoga and stretching into my life on a regular basis has completely changed the way I see my body. While the physical effects are definitely restorative and make my body feel more alive, it’s also been great for my body image to really spend time with my body appreciating all it can do. Also great for muscles: getting a massage every few months from a trained massage therapist. What a difference a massage from someone who knows what they’re doing can make. I highly recommend it!

They suspended My Blog

Late last year, I have found out that the company who hosted one of my blogs had suspended my account with them without informing me. I just realized what they did when one day I couldn’t access my blog at all. I didn't know what the problem was and did the best I could to fix the problem but to no avail. Finally, I got a hold of them after trying to contact them through phone. They told me that they suspended my account because I wasn't paying for it. Duh, I have been renewing it for the last three years, and then all of a sudden they were telling me that I wasn't paying. I didn't want to argue with them, so I just asked them what will I do to pay to activate my account again, but told me that they don't do that anymore and that they can refer me to some web hosting company they know. I just said forget it since it's kid of expensive to do that. I just asked if they can send me the activation code so I can use it when I finally get a company to host my website. Thankfully, they agreed to send it to my email.
After that experienced, I decided not to use that company again ever! I am glad to have found a company to host my websites who is reliable and can be trusted. I tell you, I never thought that such company exists. Imagine suspending my account without telling me is not acceptable.
Anyway, I still have two blogs/sites that needs to be hosted and I am now looking for a web hosting company that is reliable, can be trusted and that offers a lot of things that can be beneficial for my websites. I have found some company, but is leaning towards one. What made me chose this certain is that my website can be up in no time (30 minutes) compare to others that will take a week or so for a website to be up. Well, I can wait that long. I have a job to do with my website that needs immediate attention otherwise I would lose some money. With this web hosting company, I just can relax while they do the transferring for me.

Trip to Florida

Spring break almost over for my friend's children, while my son's spring break is not going to start till  first of April. I don't understand why my son's school decided do have their spring break a month later. I wished they didn't do that. Now, my son and his friends didn't get the chance to play together. Plus our plan to go to the Grand Canyon together this spring didn't go through, bummer! This summer my friend and her family are going to Florida. They'll be staying in one of her friend's house in Tampa. They'll be needing to rent a limo tampa to take them to Disneyworld. Now, she asked me if I can find a rent a car in Tampa that is affordable. I think I need to call my cousin in Florida to see if she could recommend me one. My cousin and her family travels a lot around Florida and I am pretty sure she can help me and my friend find a car rental that offers great deals on limo rental.

Discount on Scrubs

Lately, we have been receiving a lot of flyer on the mail. It's been overwhelming! I feel like we are collecting junks. At first we were happy about it because it is very useful when we light our fireplace. But now that winter is almost over, we don't know where to put them in. Then, I thought about recycling it.; and decided to finally drop it at recycle area close to our house. But first I need to go through it to see if there is a flyer I can give to my friend, something about discount scrubs. A discount coupon can save her a few  bucks when she buys a new medical scrub. She said that scrubs can be expensive sometimes and a few bucks can save her a lot if she buys more than one pair of her uniform. It would be nice if I could be of help in anyway I can even if it just a few dollar or more.

File an Actos Lawsuit

Diabetes is a life threatening disease and million of American suffer from it including me. I remember when I first diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, I was very scared! So, when the doctor told me to exercise, eat healthy diet, and limit sugar intake as well as carbs, I immediately followed his advised. Luckily, I was able to manage my diabetes. People said that "once a diabetic, always a diabetic." After few months, the doctor put me on oral medication; good thing it was the actos otherwise I could have suffered from actos bladder cancer. I heard that some people took this medication and have been diagnosed with bladder cancer . It is so sad :-(;  now they need to file an  actos lawsuit for the company, Takeda Phamaceuticals for not doing thorough or enough research before putting the drug on the market. Many of the Actos users who did contract bladder cancer have filed a suit against Takeda performed before putting the drug on the market. So, if you are one of them, you have the a legal right to file a lawsuit....do it now before it is too late!

Excited for the Spring

Springtime is one of my favorite season aside from fall because it keeps me busy outdoor. I can do some gardening, mow the lawn, walk, ride bike or simply just sit outside on my a outdoor chair reading my books. Talking about spring, I couldn't wait till it's spring break so we can go to Utah to attend the semi - annual General Conference of the church (LDS). It will be our first time to see the prophet speaks to us face to face. After that event, we will do some camping around that state before finally going home. Too bad we planned on driving to Las Vegas to see my sister in - law and her boyfriend, but due to the fact that renting a car would costs us $400 when we return the car in Vegas instead of Utah, what a bummer. We figured flying would be better...and that's what we are planning to do.

Safety First Before Anything Else

Safety of my family is one of my most priority in life. I'll do everything to protect them. Since I only have one child, I am very protective of him. I worry a lot especially when my son is outside home. But sad to say that I don't have control of everything around him when he is not home. My husband teases me when I share with him some of my worries about my son. Well, can you blame me? We already loss our first child, I couldn't afford to lose another one again. I don't know what were a church friend in - laws were thinking when they didn't put pool fences around their swimming pool. Because of that mistake, they loss one of their grandchildren who is only 2 year old when he died. If they couldn't afford to put fences for their swimming pool, they could have at least kept an eye of that child very closely. I felt bad for my friend. I am pretty sure that after that incident, the first thing they did was call a company that installs pool fences.

One of My Favorite Drinks

I am a simple person with simple dreams and life. Small and simple things makes me happy, just like this drink. It is one of my favorite drinks which I didn't know how to make yet. It is a Thai Tea with big tapioca. I only get a chance to drink it when we eat at Chinese or Thai restaurants. And when I do, this drink becomes my dessert for it is sweet and yummy!

Thai tea (also known as Thai iced tea) or "cha-yen" in Thailand, is a drink made from strongly-brewed black tea. Other ingredients may include added orange blossom water, star anise, crushed tamarind seed or red and yellow food coloring, and sometimes other spices as well. This tea is sweetened with sugar and condensed milk and served chilled. Evaporated milk, coconut milk or whole milk is generally poured over the tea and ice before serving to add taste and creamy appearance. However, in Thailand, condensed milk and sugar are mixed with the tea before it is poured over ice and then topped with evaporated milk. In Thai restaurants worldwide, it is served in a tall glass, though in Thailand it is more typically poured over the crushed ice in a clear (or translucent) plastic bag. It can also be made into a frappe at more westernized vendors.
It is popular in Southeast Asia and in many American restaurants that serve Thai food. Although Thai tea is not the same as bubble tea, a Southeast and East Asian beverage that contains large tapioca pearls, Thai tea with tapioca pearls is a popular flavor of bubble tea.

If you are looking for a place where you can design your own street shirt or t - shirts for a fair price, then you need to check the streetshirts.co.uk. They sell custom t-shirts , too or you can design your own. What I like the most is that you can even get your order the same day if you order it at 2pm. How about free first class delivery service. Interested? Visit their site for more info. I had fun browsing their site.

Our Trip to the Philippines

My husband and I have been married for 10 years before he finally met my parents and siblings (family) in person last year. Before our flight, my husband was very nervous, excited and worried. Excited to see the place where I was born and raised and also meet my folks, and nervous because it was his first time to travel by plane for almost 24 hours, and worried that my family will not like him, lol. But I assured him that there is nothing for him to be worried about; and he will have so much fun spending time with them. He didn't know then that my parents are more excited to see him and our son than me. Anyway, the long flight was hard for my son. He kept saying "are we there yet, Mommy?" Or "another stop- over again"  in the disappointed voice. But that was replaced with so much fun and excitement when we finally landed and seen his cousin and uncles at the airport waiting for us. Husband spent 10 days there while Jacob and I were there for almost two weeks. Unfortunately, our days there were cut off because hubby and I got sick. But hey! we still had so much fun! I just wished we could have stayed there longer. Seeing my family again was a great treat for me and my family and vice versa. It was worth the money and time.

Going to the Philippines takes a lot of preparations, from saving money for the trip, and shopping for some presents to each member of the family. No occasion for that matter, just a Filipino tradition to give someone something they like and will make them feel special and happy. Aside from these two expenses, there's the pocket money we need to spend while there. Good thing we have saved enough for that trip otherwise we would need to find a company that would give as a  paycheck advance of which we try to avoid as much as possible. Don't get me wrong on this one, obtaining a payday loan is not bad at all, it can actually help you a lot especially in times of emergency and such.
