Los Angeles Condos and Homes

We are living in an apartment now for almost two years and I tell you, it is not easy especially if you have the neighbor upstairs who are very inconsiderate. These people make noise anytime of the day. I understand that they have children, but that is not a valid reason for the noises they make, especially when they told us that if the noise is too much, we need to let them know. Hot water is also a reason for us to leave the place, because usually, it is not available. All the tenants share one water tank! I think of moving to another apartment, but the problem is, it would be hard to find nice apartment in the city where we are now.

My husband and I think that the best thing we can do is purchase a home or condo. That is why, for few months now, we are looking for a home where we can live comfortably like we used to before we sold our first house due to work. We are very persistent to get a house so we can avail of the $8,000 tax credit by buying a home. Anyway, if you consider of moving in Los Angeles, you will find Los Angeles Condos that are very affordable and within the nice neighborhood. I remember my cousin mentioned to me at one time that there are plenty of Sherman Oaks Homes for Sale in Los Angeles, CA.I think, that place is one of the best neighborhood to live in, in that part of CA.

Samsung HDTV for My Parents!

Last year, I went to the Philippines to attend my grandmother's funeral. That trip served as a reunion and visit with my parents and siblings. I was kind of sad and happy at the same time, for the reason that finally my grandmother was reunited with my grandfather and is resting now. Sad, that I didn't get to see her before she died. Anyway, as I mentioned, I got to see my family and spent quality time with them. While staying with my parents, I noticed that their television was small and really old. It was hard for my father to watch his fave show because of that. So, I plan on sending my brother money to buy a bigger and better one which is Samsung HDTV. I am pretty sure that my parents is going to have so much fun watching television on big screen. When I told my father about my plan, he was kind of shy, but I can feel that he was very happy and excited!

My Health Condition Has Gotten Worst

The other day, I went to see my doctor for a routine check up and found out that my blood count was too low (6) again. No wonder why I feel so weak and no energy to do my job at home. Not only that, my blood sugar level was higher than normal and my creatinine was a little bit higher. These worries me so much now. I don't want to go to another set of iron infusion again because it didn't really help me much. Anyway, he gave me an epogen shot and told me to come back next week to see whether the shot helped. If it doesn't, then he would probably give me blood transfusion this time. Till then, I need to eat liver and green leafy vegetables because they are rich in iron. I am also limiting salt and sugar intake to control my blood sugar and blood pressure. I would like to walk on a treadmill, but I am afraid I'll pass out. I am very tired of my health condition, but I have to take care of myself for the sake of my son; hubby is doing the same thing for the same reason.

Term Life Insurance Comparisons

From reading on the internet, I have found out that If I want to save more, we should get term life insurance because it is less expensive than life insurance. Since we are thinking of our son's future in case something happens to me or my hubby, our son will be financial secure. There are many companies around that sell this kind of insurance that is why we need to be careful in order to get the benefit we want. The best thing we can do is to search for a company that offer a free term life insurance comparisons , that way we know which term life insurance is best for our budget and need.

In Search of Bank Owned Homes

A couple of months ago, my husband and I found a town home that we like. It was in the nice and established neighborhood, close to school, church, park, shopping mall, hospital, and work. We didn't know it was once of the bank owned homes property until we have talked to the Realtor. It was a great chance for us to own that property, but we need to finish our lease before we can buy it or else we would be paying rent and mortgage at the same time which we cannot afford to do. The great thing about buying a foreclosure home is that we can take advantage of the $8,000 tax credit by buying bank owned homes. Anyway, I have found out that anywhere you want to go, you can find bank owned homes even in Washington, in fact they also have the Seattle Bank Owned Homes if you are interested in buying a house/home in that state.

Life Insurance Quotes

One of the best thing parents can do for their children is to make them feel secure, not only spiritually but also temporally. We can go to church, keep God's commandments and live a moral and clean life. On Temporal side, we can save money by opening savings account for them, teach them the importance of hard work and self-reliance, getting a life insurance and so forth and so on. We would like to get a life insurance for our son, that way we don't need to worry about when something happens to us. He would be financially secure and finish his education without worries. Now, we need to shop for life insurance quotes, just like we did when we purchased auto insurance few months ago. We are pretty sure that the best life insurance company for us is out there, we just need to be patient looking for it.

Search for Best Auto Insurance Quotes

I got into wreck the day after Thanksgiving day last year and that really pissed me off. We love that van so much because it is pretty much new, it is limited which means it's got everything on it. We didn't own anything from it because we paid it in cash. But because of some impatient driver who couldn't wait for their turn, our van was totaled! Thank goodness nobody gets hurt; and the auto insurance we've found is one of the best auto insurance in the market today. We are happy that our auto insurance hunting paid off. Had we not searched for auto insurance quotes first, we would have trouble processing the claim. The owner of the car who hit us has a very crummy auto insurance who contacted us almost a month after we reported the accident for claim. We used our auto insurance instead and let them go after them.

Finding Lease Purchase Homes Has Never Been Easier!

Living in an apartment can be hard sometimes especially if you live downstairs and your neighbor upstairs is very inconsiderate and made noises anytime (day or night). I can understand they have kids, but we feel like they don't remind their kids that they have neighbors downstairs. She keeps telling us to tell them if they are being too noisy. Then, there is only one water heater on overall apartment complex, thus making us hard to get hot water especially in the morning. I keep telling my husband that we need to find lease purchase home to get out of the terrible place we are in right now since we are only six months away from our lease to be over. Oh well, I am sure we can find one that we like a here in Texas, just like in California. Lease Purchase Los Angeles can help you find the one that fits your need and budget.

When I Am Busy Blogging...

this is the scenario...my son falls asleep on the couch waiting for Mommy to help him with the nightly routine which are: take a shower, brush his teeth, put his jammy on, pray and read a bedtime story. As you can see, that wasn't his jammy and definitely not sleeping on his bed!

Oh come on, guys...as if I am the only one guilty here :-)! Just kidding :-)!

Talk to your because he will recommend one treatment or a combination of therapies that are best for your situation and overall prognosis. Need Quick De-Cluttering Tips?

Having a kid at home it is very hard for me to pick up after his mess, so our small apartment has clutters everywhere especially during weekend. I never stop telling him to put his toys away, but he seems to forget it after is done playing. Then, there is my hubby who can sometimes be messier than me. Definitely I need a quick way to de-cluttring our place. Knowing me, am an organize freak person. So here are few tips I got from realsimple.com that help you maintain clean, organized spaces throughout the year. Once your rooms are clutter-free the key is keeping them that way.

  • Monthly: Maintain your de-cluttering process by giving each family member an “I’m done with it” bag. It can be kept in their closet to collect un-needed or unwanted items throughout the year. Get everyone in the habit of throwing out junk immediately. At the end of the month, combine the bags and donate the collected items.
  • De-clutter the kitchen and bathroom as part of holiday preparation cleaning.

  • Seasonally: Choose seasons or occasions throughout the year to do larger de-cluttering jobs. For example: De-clutter the garage at the beginning of fall. Do kids rooms and playrooms before birthdays and holidays. De-clutter the kitchen and bathroom as part of holiday preparation cleaning.
  • Weekly: Do “small space” organizing on a weekly basis using a similar list approach. Assign a day to one shelf or one drawer to de-clutter and set a time limit. Check each small space off your list and you’ll enjoy an instant feeling of accomplishment and will be more likely to maintain your clutter-free areas.
Letting go of “stuff” can be very therapeutic, and will hopefully give you a bright new outlook for the year and your home.

Finding Studio Apartment Has Never Been Easier!

Six months ago, we looked for an apartment back in the city where we used to live. We didn't have enough time to go from place to place to find an apartment ourselves because the company who rehired my husband only gave us two weeks to move back. So, we decided to look online and there we found pretty decent “Studio apartments” that fits our budget, the floor plans we want. The website I tell was easy to navigate and photos never lie. They looked exactly the same when you see the it in person. My sister in-law found their apartment at Las Vegas Studio Apartments website and was very please with it.

Break the Cycle of Failed New Year's Resolutions with New Book, Achieve Anything in Just One Year

This is a sponsored guest post written by Jason Harvey on behalf of Achieve Anything In Just One Year. Post powered by Sponzai.

On January 1, more than 100 million Americans will make a New Year’s resolution, according to a University of Washington survey. By March, however, most resolution-makers will already have broken their newly minted promises.

In his new book, Achieve Anything in Just One Year: Be Inspired Daily to Live Your Dreams and Accomplish Your Goals (Amazing Life Press, $29.95, http://www.amazinglifepress.com/), Jason Harvey provides a blueprint for personal success that can make 2010 the year that resolutions become reality.

Most resolutions fail because people try to change too fast and accomplish too much all at once,” said Harvey, a Certified Life Coach. “My book is about learning how to make small daily changes and be your own personal life coach.”

The most common resolutions - to quit smoking, lose weight, exercise more, spend more quality time with family, etc. - are also the easiest to break. “The truth is, we set ourselves up to fail by making resolutions that are sweeping and unrealistic,” explained Harvey.

The resulting cycle of making and breaking promises is self-defeating - so how can individuals make resolutions stick? Achieve Anything in Just One Year equips readers with the tools to:

  • Be truly committed.Don’t just go through the motions - act like you’re making a promise to your company, or to your best friend.

  • Be specific. A resolution like “I want to lose weight” is easier to ignore than “I want to lose five pounds by March.”

  • Set a deadline. A timeframe equals commitment and helps quantify success.

  • Avoid overwhelming yourself. You may want to lose weight, quit smoking, achieve moderation with martinis and cut up your credit cards all at once, but let’s get real. Focus on a limited set of goals and plan on taking stock mid-year.

  • Change one thing at a time. Recognize that change is hard. Wait to achieve one goal before starting on the next.

  • Be realistic. Taking charge of a fitness regimen is a realistic goal, while exercising seven days a week may not be. Don’t set yourself up for disappointment with lofty goals.

The idea is to take daily action that creates a ripple effect in your life,” said Harvey. “By transforming your life with small steps, you can stay motivated, focused and balanced. Best of all, you’ll feel happier about pursuing your personal success.”

Achieve Anything in Just One Year is available to BUY NOW at Amazon.com.

Amazing How This Bag Describes Me!

You Are Unpretentious and Honest

You're quite happy with who you are, and you never pretend to be someone you're not.

You just act naturally. It's what works best for you, and you're comfortable with who you are.

You like people when they're just being themselves. Nothing turns you off more quickly than a phony.

You don't like it when other people want you to measure up to their standards. You should be enough as is.

Admin Job Search

Many people have not recovered yet from financial crisis due to the economic meltdown a couple of years ago. In fact, I still see people getting laid off from jobs and that is so sad. I feel for them because we were a victim, too! We were glad that God has never leave us and He always helps us in any problems we face. He gave back my husband's previous work and that is great! Looking for jobs can very difficult, but if you are looking for administrative job, admin job search can help you get the job you are looking for. You will find admin job in almost any part of the U.S. Anyway, since my son is at school now, I think of working part time to help with our finances.

I Need to Lower My A1C!

Few months after I had a kidney transplant, I developed type2 diabetes due to some of the side effects of my medications. At first I was able to control it through diet and exercise, but for whatever reason I found myself not doing anything at all to control it. My doctor and I were alarmed when all of a sudden my A1C was up to normal. He immediately put me into Glipizide to help control it. He also asked me to see a dietitian to help me with my food intake. Oh, well, I tell you, it is hard to go back into exercise and dieting. I even thought of taking glucomannan supplement to help stabilize my blood sugar. I just need to tell me doctor about this supplement before taking it to make sure that it will not interfere with the other medications I am taking. I also learn that this supplement can help on weight loss, acne prevention, colon cleanse and more.

Happy with Who I Am!

I am a person who is happy with who I am and how I look. And I worry not about getting wrinkles because of my age. Yup, we get older every year and so does our skin. Some people like my Aunt is very concern about her skin. So, she does all she can to make her skin smooth and younger looking. Well, she has enough money to see a dermatologist as well as buy anti aging product, no wonder why her skin is looking younger than mine...she even look younger than me! Oh well, for me no matter what I do and put on with my skin, sooner or later the sign of aging can not be covered anymore!

Tips On Saving Money for the New Year!

I got this from LDS Living Magazine and thought of sharing it with you, guys!

This year, as you gear up to say hello to 2010, don't forget about your finances. Spend a little time getting up-close and personal with your checkbook and make a plan to curb your spending and fatten up your savings account.

Read on for seven tips for a financially healthy 2010:

1. Avoid the mall. Seriously. As 2009 draws to a close, your favorite retailers will be running end-of-year clearance sales on everything from major appliances to winter coats. Unless you absolutely must have a new refrigerator, pass on the sales and put your extra money into your savings account instead.

2. Cut the cards. Got credit card debt? There's no time like the start of a new year to change your spending habits and start putting a dent in your debt. Make a resolution to start paying off your credit cards. And, more importantly, make a resolution to stop using your cards, period.

3. Start an emergency fund. Credit cards can be hard to cut when you use them for emergencies. So start an emergency fund! A good way to make sure that you don't have to rack up loads of credit card debt is to start socking money away for those unplanned emergencies. A good rule of thumb for most people is to have about three months' salary in a separate account. But, don't let that figure intimidate you: Decide what you can realistically put away, and go from there. If you start in January, you'll be surprised how quickly your money will add up.

4. Curb your impulses. From fancy cupcakes to fashion magazines, DVD rentals to fast food everybody has a few inexpensive vices. But, these little luxuries can add up to a big drain on your wallet. The New Year is a great time to cut down on impulse purchases. Got a daily eating out habit? Kick it down to twice a week. Addicted to convenience foods? Make a lunch at home and brown bag it. You'll be surprised at how much you'll save.

5. Be a savvy shopper. Even the most financially savvy people in the world still have to go grocery shopping. But, there are dozens of ways to shop smarter in 2010 and stretch your dollar when stocking up on the necessities. Clip coupons and watch store circulars for double (or even triple) coupon events. Consider switching to store-brand items whenever possible. In most cases, they're just as good as the national brand and can save you some serious money. Also, get in the habit of making a list before you go out it'll help you stay focused and buy only what you need.

6. Check your credit. From helping you secure a home mortgage to, in some cases, landing a new job, your credit report is used in countless ways. All consumers are eligible for a free annual credit report from the three major credit bureaus: Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax. Start the New Year off right request a copy from each and read them carefully. Not only does this give you the chance to dispute errors, taking the time to check up on your credit can also alert you to fraudulent activities, like accounts you didn't open or charges you didn't make.

7. Write a budget. And stick to it. Writing a budget isn't nearly as scary as it sounds. And, a budget is a great way to make sure that your finances stay on track in 2010. It's pretty easy: Start with your total monthly household income, then deduct your bills (like your rent or mortgage, utilities, car payments, etc.) and expenses (like gas and food). After that, decide how much you want to put in your savings account and how much will go to your emergency fund. And, don't forget to leave yourself a little fun money for the occasional restaurant meal or night at the movies. And remember to be flexible: If you find yourself a little strapped for cash after you've worked out your budget, don't ditch it altogether make adjustments until you hit on a budget you can live with.

Making a few simple adjustments to your spending and saving habits can go a long way. Follow these tips and you'll be on the way to a financially secure new year.

Good luck and have a happy, healthy 2010!

Neutrogena Skin ID

I used to worry about acne, and all sorts of skin problems before, but not anymore. By reading and educating myself about acne, I learn that skin blemishes can be prevented and treated. Acne is very common with young adults and teenagers. There are myths and facts about acne and if you want to know more about it, you should read the neutrogena skin id reviews that can help you learn more about this skin disease and what to with it. Seeing a dermatologist is the best thing to do if you are not sure what to do.

Herbal Colon Cleanse

More and more people are being diagnose with colon cancer nowadays and that is sad! Three year ago my father in-law has gone through a colonoscopy to make sure his colon is fine and so is my husband. Thank goodness both test results turned out to be negative! My husband still takes herbal colon cleanse though to make sure his colon is clean. This also helps with his weight loss. This stuff can be expensive, but can sure help prevent getting a colon cancer, don't you think?

I Am Indeed a Thinker!

You Are a Thinker

You tend to have your feet on the ground. You think about what's actual, and you love facts.

You are a rational person. You like to think through ideas, and you like the thoughts that books spark.

You are a person with many different interests. You are fascinated by everything in the world.

You are a person who values your possessions. You tend to have fewer things but of higher quality.

Best Multi-Vitamins

I cannot believe some people think that multi-vitamins don't do any good for you. For me that is the craziest thing I have ever heard. A friend of mine also said that muti-vitamins make children eat more thus making them obese! Where in the world she learned that!? Well, she is my friend but I didn't listen and believe of what she said. I still give my son multi-vitamins. And hubby and I take the best multi-vitamins we find. I think my friend needs to read my post and click here to learn more for her to be educated of what she is missing. She is getting old and I think she needs to take multi-vitamins for strength and vitality. I have been taking multi-vitamins ever since I was a kid and it helps me with my health and well being.

Nothing Much to Say!

My son didn't have a school yesterday and would go back till Tuesday. That means I would be busy playing with him. But that is not the case now. He plays by himself and just talk with me every once in awhile. He is such a good kid who doesn't need someone to entertain himself. He does watch t.v., do coloring, draws, and read books. Four days without school is a great time to bond as family. I wonder if my hubby has a plan for us to do this afternoon. If none, then it is time to visit a friend and then have dinner our afterward because I don't have any plans of making dinner tonight...just want to be lazy and update my blogs :-)!

Blackhead Removal

I hate blackhead! I still remember when my kidney failed, my face started to have pimples and blackheads. Gosh I never thought I would suffer from skin breakouts. When I consulted my doctor about it, he prescribed me a facial medication that would help get rid of my pimples and blackheads. I was happy because it worked. Many teenagers worry about blackhead removal ; I can't blame them. Having blackheads and pimples can lower your self-esteem that is why they see dermatologists to help them take care for their skin just like my cousins.

Deep Thoughts

I love this deep thought, don't you? Helps remind myself to evaluate myself first before saying something.

“Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you are a mile away from them and you have their shoes.” ~Jack Handy~

Christian Louboutin

When it comes to buying a gift for me, my husband always having difficult time finding something that I like. He knows I like purses and shoes that are expensive, but quality made that will lasts a lifetime. But still he can't still comprehend why these things are very expensive. I told him that if he buys me a pair shoes or purse, he will never buy me again for at least five years. One time while we were shopping for holiday gifts, I told him that I would like to have one of Christian Louboutin shoes, and he said “you need to save for it” or wait till we win a lotto. That means, it is not going to happen since we never buy lotto. Oh well, that shoes will be on my wish-list forever!

Girls Rule: First Date

Girls Talk

It's been awhile since I last joined the meme; I will try to do better starting today :-)! Anyway, I am excited to share my first date. It was way back in 1989 when I was first asked by my first boyfriend whom I met during Single's Choir Fest at church. We were introduced by our mutual friend. I wasn't really interested with him at first, but because of his persistence effort to get to know me...I finally decided to go with him. He fetched me up at work with matching flowers and chocolates. Yup, he was so sweet and generous. Anyway, we went to have some pizza first and afterward watched a movie at SM Megamall in Ortigas. I still can remember the title of the movie starred by Dolly Parton ( Save the Best for Last). It was a love story and I like it. I tell you, he was a perfect gentleman and that it what I like about him. Our second date was the romantic one where we went to Tagaytay, sight-seeing and ate at Vista Lodge Hotel...that to me was a romantic one! Before he came back to CA, he introduced me to his parents in Pampanga.

New Year, New PR on My Blog!

A friend of mind told me that the PR on her blog has decreased from PR2 to 1. She asked if I checked my PR and I said no. So I did check it last night and sure enough the PR3 on this blog is now PR2. Oh well , that is okay I guess since I have been lazy updating my blogs as well as blog hopping and dropping EC. I also became lazy doing paid post. Now that I decided to spend less time in front of the computer, I figured eventually, the PR on this as well as my other blogs will be gone. It doesn't matter to me now since spending time with my son and cleaning house will be my first priority this year. I still thank Google for not completely taking away the PR on this blog *wink* to Mr. G :-)!
