They don't see each other often, so everytime they see each other, they play like crazy. They like each other so much. Problem accessing PPP

Is it me or everybody that can't get in to the PPP? At 5:30 in the afternoon, I shut my Computer off because we will be attending my son's school orientation. The meeting starts at 6pm and lasted for like two hours. Everything went well again just like with the meeting I have with my son's teacher this morning. Well after the meeting we decided to go to the mall for dinner since I didn't make a dinner; and after the dinner we stayed for half an hour at the video arcade and played video game with our some. Got home at 9pm and opened my PC to check for opps, but for whatever reason I couldn’t get in. I was trying to log in for like 3 hours but to no avail. I became frustrated, so I stopped trying instead I just dropped EC with my two blogs. I was very disappointed. It's 12:30am now, and I will try again for the last time before going to bed and hope to finally get in. Well see if I got lucky this time.

This is Jacob when he was two months old. With him was my Aunt who visited us from Florida and hubby who was still in god shape that time. The way I look!

When I was still single, I used to hang out with friends at work all the time. My friends and I are very different from each other, in our style, the way we dress and even the way we act. I always stand out from the rests of us because I was always the one who is very shy, simple and very conservative. Being around my friends most of the time made me overcome my shyness. And every time I see a very neat and good looking guy, I gave him my very sweet smile, which was the way I flirted and that caught his attention. Once again, my son and I went to church by ourselves because this is one of those Sundays where hubby is working. It is lonely at the church without him that is why Jacob wanted to go home so bad! After telling him that we will go home as soon as the church services are finished which is by the way lasted for three hours. I drop him off at his Primary Class against his will and ended up enjoying it as always. So both of us attended and enjoyed the meetings together. We always love going to church because it make us feel better no matter what we felt before going. It always is worth it going to church and worship God than staying home doing nothing. We always feel days and weeks easier to handle because we feel His spirit with us esp. when we "do what is right."

Favorite Great American Seafood Recipe

I love to cook and eat and one of the foods that I like most is Sea foods. Aside from sea foods are easy to cook, they are also healthier and are easy to find. Just go to the grocery store and there they are fresh and the price is very reasonable. You can even find it in any Asian market. Growing up in the country where I grew up, there is plenty of seafood which is very affordable and freshly harvested. I always like it when my mother cooked seafood because it was very tasty and easy to cook. She makes soup with seafood in it. One of my favorite was when she put seafood in stirred fry noodles with plenty of vegetables in it. Oh my goodness! I couldn't control myself from eating it. In 2008 Great American Seafood cook off, the five finalists were given challenges to create a dish for final round of the competition. I think most of then was good and have created a very tasty and unique dish. But I chose Chef Tafari Campbell of Maryland for his Pan Roasted Glazed Rockfish with Peas and Carrots dish. I chose the dish because it is easy to prepare, the ingredients are easy to find and you can even put crab or shrimp in there or both if you want. It is a complete meal, very sustainable and has domestic taste; anybody can prepare it in no time. I wouldn’t change the way he prepared it as with the ingredients.

My husband and I love watching movies; be at home with rented DVD or Movie Theater, nobody can stop us. Both of us like classic movies; one of our favorite movies of all time is Forrest Gump (starred by Tom Hanks); I can watch it over and over again without getting tired or bored. The famous line I like was when he was at the bus stop talking to a woman while eating chocolates and said: “My momma always said life was like a box of chocolates…you never know what you're going to get.” It is very true. Life is full of surprises… you don’t know what is going to happen next.

Bingo, game for entire family!

Playing Bingo is very popular game in the place where I grew up. I played this game when I was little with my family and still is fun to play with if you want to spend quality time with your family. We really all have fun playing and what I like most about it was I win most of the time on the other hand my father loses the game most of the time. Anyway, when I got here in United States, I stopped playing because there’s no one to play with as with my hubby is always busy; now am missing playing it with my family back home.

Coriander and Cummin Rubbed Pork Ribs

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon ground coriander
3 cloves garlic, minced

2 boneless pork loin chops or Ribs
ground black pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:
Mix the salt, cumin, coriander, garlic, and 1 tablespoon olive oil to form a paste. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper, and rub with the paste. Heat the remaining olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, and cook the pork chops about 5 minutes on each side, to an internal temperature of 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).

This also works really well on the BBQ, baked and grilling. I added a half of a dried chipotle pepper to this and ground all the spices and garlic in a mortar and pestle.

Can I buy an hour of your time?

This is a very touching story about a little boy and his Dad. I was really touched after reading it. I think this is not only pertains with the fathers , but also for the mothers as well out there who are very busy and no time for their children. I thought this would somehow give us a lesson on how we are using our precious time and how we are treating our children.

A man came home from work late again, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year-old son waiting for him at the door.

"Daddy, May I ask you a question?" "Yeah sure, what is it?" replied the man.

"Daddy, how much do you make an hour?" "That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?" the man said angrily.

"I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?" pleaded the little boy. "If you must know, I make $20 an hour." "Oh," the little boy replied, with his head down.

Looking up, he said, "Daddy, may I please borrow $10?" The father was furious, "If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed." Think about why you are being so selfish. I work long hard hours everyday and don't have time for such childish behavior.

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door. The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money!

After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think: He may have been a little hard on his son. Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $10 and he really didn't ask for money very often.

The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door. "Are you asleep, son?" He asked.

"No daddy, I'm awake," replied the boy.

"I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier," said the man. "It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $10 you asked for.

"The little boy sat straight up, smiling. "Oh, thank you daddy!" he exclaimed. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills. The man, seeing that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, then looked up at his father.

"Why do you want more money if you already have some?" the father grumbled.

"Because I didn't have enough, but now I do," the little boy replied.

"Daddy, I have $20 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow.

Spaghetti for Dinner...

The two men in my house love spaghetti so much that I make it once a week menu. Last night I cooked some and they were both very happy and I, myself enjoyed it, too, considering that I am not much of a spaghetti person. I can say, I did a good job last night! Here look at my son and tell me whether I m exaggerating it or not.

My First Summer Vacation In America

Before I got married, my husband and I have a nice vacation in Los Angeles. We were both new in the place; it was a good thing because my cousin lives in Costa Mesa which is so close to Los Angeles. We asked her what are things to do in Los Angeles for we don’t have any idea where to go and which is the best place to see. The weather was so nice in there, so while there we went to the beach in Costa Mesa and did some bike riding and swimming. It was during 9/11 and we were stranded because of the flight cancellation, so our vacation went longer than planned. We have had a chance to go to Disneyland and have ridden a lot of rides there. It was so magical to me for it was my first time. Since we live in Virginia now, we want to go to New York and before going there we would like to know more about things to do in New York to make our next destination hassle- free and more enjoyable.
