We Love Gardening!

Who doesn't love gardening? I think everyone wants to eat organic foods; or even fresh from your own garden veggies and fruits. Hubby and I love gardening. Even when we were living in an apartment before, we still grow herbs and indoor plants. Now that we bought a new house with enough space to grow garden again, we are very excited. We have plants on the front and backyard as well as indoor plants. The hydroponics is a good way to consider when you are a gardener.And for a not so expert on gardening, we can use some help from hydroponics. Back in our old house where we used to live, my husband and I planted some vegetables, flower plants and trees on our garden. We like everything in our garden and the whole yard except the fire ants. They somehow managed to live on our flowers beds, and that made us mad because every time we cultivate the soil they just come out and started crawling and biting our hands. It is frustrating! We tried eliminate them using chemicals made especially for fire ants. But after few days, they are back on different location and it is driving us nuts. We didn't know what else to do, so we decided to go to a nursery to see if they can help us treat fire ants or at leas refer someone who can help us. How to Pick the Freshest Flowers

Yup, African violet is one of my fave flowers and indoor decor. I have three colors of these placed in our bathrooms. I have white, purple, lavender and pink. I also have cactus and orchids.

What do you think of this flower? I think it is pretty and I like it. Can you believe that it is a winter flower? Yes, it is! I find this picture online and find it very attractive that is why I posted it here. I don't know what the name of this flower yet. Can anyone tell me what's the name of it? Would really love to have it on my garden someday.
