8th Years of Marriage...

September 21st was our 8th wedding anniversary. I can’t believe it’s been 8 years! In that span of time we’ve:

• moved two times.

• bought a house .

• owned five different cars.

• have had a dog, a rabbit and two fish.

• have grieved over the loss of a daughter, a grandmother, and an Uncle.

• are the parents to one (brilliant) kid, and one sweet daughter who is back in Heaven.

• remodeled a kitchen by without hiring a professional but us.

• Lived in three apartments.

• hiked through a handful of State Parks in New Mexico, Virginia, and Texas.

• Got laid off twice.

• visited my family in the Philippines twice.

We Got a Second Car

I have been bugging my husband to get us a second car since we got here in Texas. The reason why was because I was worried that in case something happened and he is at work, we have a car to be used especially now that he works night shift. Though we already talked about not getting one yet, I didn't know that he was still looking for a potential second car for us. Finally, we have found the second car we have been looking for that fits our budget and needs. Today we went to a dealership nearby and even get great deal on it. Hubby likes Toyota Avalon and that is what we get. We both like the car and decided to buy it. It really pays to have patience.

Northern Exposure...

Just got back from a walk on our neighborhood. For some reason, the weather is cool today that is why we had a nice walk, and Jacob and fell asleep on his stroller. Now I am sitting next to hubby blogging while watching episodes of our fave show, Northern Exposure starred by Janine Turner, John Corbett and Rob Morrows. It is very addictive; we are almost done with the fifth season, which means we need to rent or buy the sixth and final season.

Jake's Birthday Party

Lately, we have been sleeping late, and that is why we also wake up late in the morning, like at 11 in the morning. Today, we woke up the same time again, so no breakfast for us. We decided to go eat at our fave resto with Ate Delia. After lunch, we went to the mall to buy our son pants since he has out grown most of his pants. But we didn't buy him, not even a single one because even though they are on sale at JC Penney, they are still expensive. We decided to go to Wal Mart later and buy there instead. On the other hand, hubby, Ate Delia and me got a nice deal with our clothes. It is good thing that we went there because we saw Amazing Jake, it's kind of like a Chuck E Cheeses where we can do Jake birthday party for an affordable price. We don't have to worry about everything because it will all be provided by them even cakes, and give aways; plus it is a buffet where we can all have all you can eat pizza, salad and drinks. I think for a $100 for ten person, it would be a good deal. What do you guys think?

What is Going on?

I have been encountering problems with the traffic on my blogs. First they keep messing up with it. Since yesterday, the traffic with my blogs are gone but the Kitchen the Heart of our home. And I have no idea why. Then, I couldn't log in to my account; what is going on? Is it a joke or what? It is getting into my nerve now! I did everything I could just so I can log in, from clearing out my personal data to requesting for new password, but none of them worked. I tried to log in my niece account and it worked! It's just my account that is locked or what? Oh men, don't know what else to do and think. Now, all of my blogs have nothing!
