Back to school again...

After three days off to school, Jacob was having hard time going back. He didn't want to go to school or ride the school bus. I told him he needs to go to school because he needs to maintain his attendance of 85% or over so they won't kick him out of the program and give the slot to somebody on the wait lists. I ended up taking him to school; and as soon as he sees his teacher, he went to her and gave her a hug, so sweet of my so to do that. He was fine when I left her. It is breaking my heart every time I see my son crying and not wanting to go to school without me.

I am a mother of two and I never regret it. I always love to see those women who are very successful with their career, but that was before I become a mother. We just got back from three days reunion of the "Kenyon Clan" held in Durham, NC. Most Humorous Vacation

In September of 2001, my husband and I have our first vacation together before we got married in Los Angeles. We really have a lot of fun there especially when we went to Disneyland. It was a dream comes true for me to be there and was my husband second time.Together we enjoyed our visit; we rode the roller coaster where were both scared even ‘though we both like it. The funny thing was that they took video/pictures of every one riding that we were really laughing of how we looked like after seeing our funny facial expressions during the ride. Hilarious, that I couldn’t stop laughing. After the ride, we took some pictures of the Disney characters including Snow White, Cinderella, Mickey and Minnie mouse. I have so much fun and because of that, the little girl inside of me came out. Thanks to the Los Angles Tours.

It's Autum time, where leaves are falling down and bright colors can be found...

This is a picture of Jacob sitting on top of pumpkins; he loves the place so much! It is pretty in there and of course famous in Dallas for its beauty.

It's Autumn, one of my favorite season where colors on the leaves of the trees are changing colors, from green to red, yellow and orange and sometimes, purple. Jacob enjoys playing with the file of leaves we raked. This was taken at the Dallas Arboretum, Texas fall of last year. This year we will be going to Shenandoah Valley for beautiful scenery of the fall here in Virginia. I can not wait to see it. They said this is a popular place to enjoy the leaves falling off the trees.

One of those days...

Another one of those cranky days Jacob has. This was taken after school, where he was tired, hungry and sleepy. He didn't want me to take picture if him, that is why he wasn't looking at the camrea. But he did what I asked him to do which was hold his badge where his teacher's name written on it.

This is how our day started....

I guess we have to stay home today since hubby is sick; it is hi off day at work and we usually go out and do something or anything that would keep us from staying home. I don't know but my husband couldn't stand home, he gets bored easily. Well, he still wants to go out to have his hair cut. I hope he wouldn't ask me to go with him, for I'd rather stay home and do blogs than going out. Well, we'll see if he would let me stay. My son on the other hand, wasn't happy this morning to go to school because he didn't see his friend, Jason at the school bus stop earlier; he kept asking me where Jason was. Finally, 5 minutes before the school bus arrive, Jason showed up with his sister. Then Jacob became excited and happy again. They sit together everyday at school bus. As far as me is concern, I am just as crazy as the first time I did blogging; am still what husbands of bloggers calls "addicted" with the computer particularly, Blogs! Well, this is how our day started this morning.

Road Rage!

A man was being tailgated by a stressed out woman on a busy boulevard. Suddenly, the light turned yellow, just in front of him. He did the right thing, stopping at the crosswalk, even though he could have beaten the red light by accelerating through the intersection.

The tailgating woman was furious and honked her horn, screaming in frustration, as she missed her chance to get through the intersection, dropping her cell phone and makeup.As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked up into the face of a very serious police officer. The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands up.

He took her to the police station where she was searched, fingerprinted, photographed, and placed in a holding cell. After a couple of hours, a policeman approached the cell and opened the door. She was escorted back to the booking desk where the arresting officer was waiting with her personal effects.

He said 'I'm very sorry for this mistake.' You see, I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn, flipping off the guy in front of you, and cussing a blue streak at him. I noticed the 'What Would Jesus Do?' bumper sticker, the 'Choose Life!' license plate holder, the 'Follow Me to Sunday-School!' bumper stickers, and the chrome-plated Christian fish emblem on the trunk; so naturally...I assumed you had stolen the car.

Cabin Cuddler rd 2

As a second timer to post this opportunity, I have learned not to rely on the airplane crew to give me a pillow and blanket next time I travel by plane. They stopped providing it to the passengers and if you happened to get one, you can be sure it is not clean as you would think it is. Anyway, it two weeks time, my in-laws are coming to visit their children here on the East Coast. They are old and get cold easily. So I decided to buy them a Cabin Cuddler so they will be comfortable riding the plane for it’s going to be a little long flight from New Mexico to where we live. Patience, Love and Forgiveness

At the first day of school, I dropped my son at school. He wasn't very happy about that. Then, he got excited when we got there. But, when it was time to pick him up, he wasn't very happy because he was the only one who didn't ride the bus; so we decided to let him ride the bus the third day. He was so excited. Oh, boy, he was so brave being the first timer in the big yellow bus. Anyway, after school the school bus dropped him off and the driver said he was crying. We never know what was the reason, but we suspected that because of the hot weather. Today is friday, we woke up early so we won't miss the bus, but unfortunately, he missed it because he lost his badge and I needed to find it but never find it anywhere in the house. I got a little bit upset because of that. I don't know why but I get upset easily somtimes even with small things like that. So I ended up dropping him off to school. It was not really a big deal, it's just that we want him to be independent and get use to riding school bus.I felt guilty, so I said sorry to my son and he gave me a hug. I just wished I can be like a child, very forgiving, humble, teachable and never hold a grudge. Jesus said: be like a little child and am working on that, still!

Would you consider sending your 3-year-old toddler to school? Yes, he was enrolled at Pre School for 4 months and tomorrow he will be going to Pre-K ( Headstart Initiative).
Explain your reasons. For me thee is the right age; I thought him basic alphabet reading, counting to 20, knew his colors, sizes and shapes and animals and etc..., but he still needs to socialize with the kids his age. Sending him to school also helps him gain more confidence and self-esteem. He loves going to school and meeting new friends now because we put him at Pre-School even for just a short time.
