Our Christmas Celebration!

My family and I celebrated our Christmas at my brother in-law's place. We got there on the night of 24th safely. We didn't get the chance to talk much because it was bedtime already for the kids, so what we did, were went to bed early, too! On Christmas day, we all woke up early and opened presents. Jacob and his cousin Cody were very happy and excited with their gifts. I was so surprise with all the gifts they got from Santa! After we opened our presents, have breakfast and played with the kids outside. We all have fun. Then we went to his in-law's for lunch. It turned out that his in-laws were very nice people and easy to get along with. Foods are abundant and yummy. I was also glad to be able to talk and greet my parents and sibling before we left. Had I not called them early, I probably haven't talk to them. They were all happy and excited for the Noche Buena. How I miss my family in the Philippines so much! I hope that next year we will have time to spend Christmas with them. Anyway, took some pictures while opening gifts and will post them here later!

Sleep Apnea

When I was pregnant with my son, I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. I didn’t know that such disorder existed in me till they noticed the way I breath. My doctor told me that it was not good for me and my baby inside to have this disease especially that I was pregnant. They told me that I am depriving the baby inside me with oxygen. So I went to a sleep test, and soon enough I have sleep apnea . Then, I have to use a CPAP machine when sleeping, even when taking a nap. I knew then that I have it because every time I wake up from nap and sleep, I have terrible headache, was snoring loud, and wakes up with gasping sensation, dry throat and feel sleepiness and even falls asleep when watching T.V. or while sitting in a car traveling for an hour or so. I asked the doctor what was the cause of it. He told me, it was my high blood pressure. My husband has sleep apnea, too! And still uses CPAP machine. On the other hand my sleep apnea was gone as soon as I gave birth to my son, plus my blood pressure is under control now by medicines. My Poor Little Man!

I took this pictures last week when my son was sicked. He was still on his pajama. He was so tired to play and eat. All he had most of the time were milk, juice and water. He eats very little, then threw up afterwards!
