Last night I made a Filipino dish called “Caldereta" (will post picture later). It was my own version for the reason that I did a little twist on it by adding chick peas (garbanzo beans), Lima beans and a little bit of banana ketchup (hot and spicy), pimento and a pinch of red pepper flakes. It was so good that hubby and I have to run to the kitchen for the left over :-). Our son loves it, too especially the beans. I am glad that Jake loves Filipino foods and veggies. He eats whatever I prepared now, than before; doesn’t need to make special meal for him at mealtime.

hubby love caldereta too Ate, i cooked it once in a while.. Im not into beef met hehehe

rose and joops, thanks for the comments :-); i bet her caldereta version is very good, every once in a while i used beef but most of the time pork.
joops, do you like "menudo, also" it's like filipino version of stew. hubby likes that, too!
