Every time I see a commercial on the television about donating a car, it makes me wonder where else do the money goes when you donated your car aside from helping youth get education. Then one day, one day I decided to search the internet and found out that there are lots of charitable institutions who do this noble work. They also use the money they get from selling donated cars by supporting “The WISH (Workforce Initiative for Supportive Housing) Program that helps place working families in vacant apartments. Wish also partnered with concerned individuals, faith groups, businesses and agencies like Goodwill Industries committed to solving Charlotte’s homelessness crisis. Their goal is accomplished through a phased, incentive-based program to provide a second chance to those families committed to living independent, responsible, and productive lives. If you are interested in donating you car for a good cause like this, there are many ways to donate your car quickly: 1.) Call Goodwill's hotline which is open 24 hours a day or simply fill up a form.2.) Then , Goodwill will pick it up and 3.)You save by possible tax deduction for your car donated. And if you want to learn more about donating car, visit their website and also do you know that this program is a nationwide, so if you live in Southern Piedmont Charlotte area, you can drop by at Charlotte Car Donation, or by calling 1-877-gwcars-9 or by visiting: http://www.cars4goodwill.com.
