Bad News,,,,

My Lola two years ago on her 95th Birthday!

I got a bad news from my cousin who is taking care of my grandmother telling me that our grandma has been in the hospital for three days now and is not getting any better. She has congested heart and lung and lung that makes her hard to breath now. She is breathing with the help of oxygen.They will take her home tomorrow. The doctor said she is so weak that there's nothing they can do anymore; not to mention that she'near 100 year old. The advised is to take her home...and that is what they are going to do. I am still in denial...that she is leaving us anytime soon now. I still don't know what to do. Oh man, I want to see her so bad! I grew up on her care when I was still a baby till I was about 8 yr old., then went back to live with her again after I finished high school...and didn't leave her till I went overseas. The last time I saw her was two years ago, even then, she barely recognized me...except that I am fat...yun ang sabi niya. Anyway, I maybe going home to see her again for the last time...just not sure yet when. I still need to call forex to see if I can get a cheap plane ticket for Monday's flight. I apologise, but I can't blog hop now. I just can't concentrate.

Catching Up...Again!

It is already 3:30 am and I am still awake blog hopping. It is hard especially when you have been busy all day doing things shores and running errands the whole day. I think this is the price we pay if we want to earn extra income even though it isn't that much compare to working outside home. My husband keeps teasing me every time he sees me sitting in front of the computer. He will say, you better get a real job if you want to earn money. I will just shrug my shoulder or stick my tongue out at him :-)! He would sometimes said: go to bed, you only have four hours of sleep! Anyway, he is used to seeing me going to bed late and doesn't complain anymore. Why would he? At least when he wants to eat out, I have money to pay for it *wink*. Anyway, I need to sleep now...have a nice sleep everyone!

Done Running Errands for Today!

Hubby and I were busy today. We started our day with a 30 minutes walk before breakfast. Then, after breakfast, we got ourselves ready for errands we planned doing today. We went first at a garage to have our car check. Thankfully , after two hours of waiting, the car check is over. We then went for lunch sine we were both starving. We ate at Ponderosa buffet to save us from trip home since there was no food cooked anyway. The foods were very salty and after that, we decided to removed it on the lists of restaurant we want tdine in again. Then, headed to Dept. of Health afterward. Talked to a very nice lady for less than 15 minutes, then we were on the way to grocery shopping. We did most of our errands for today, but pick up application forms for job. Oh well, we have plenty of time to do that tomorrow. I still need to pay bills and balance the checks tonight.

Church Meeting Today!

We didn't do much today, but went to church for two hours. We have learned a lot from the lessons given and testimonies borne by fellow church members. My son was very happy to see his best friend, Alex who is very cute and nice boy! Anyway, because of the power shortage, our bishop decided to cut the meeting one hour earlier because of it. It was nice because today was fast and testimony meeting, those who fasted can go home early, relax while waiting for it to be over. twenty four hour fasting can be very hard to few, but the blessing that comes from doing it is priceless!

It's Not a Gall Stone!

My husband went to Emergency Room yesterday without me. I want to be with him, but I have to pick my son up at the school bus stop today. Anyway, after all the test and x-rays and ct scan they did to him, they found out the he didn't have gall stone. He has type2 diabetes instead :-(; my poor husband, the pain on his tummy all along was IBS, so they gave him medicine for stool softener and so far he's going to the bathroom pretty regularly now. Back to diabetes, we didn't know all along that he has it. My cousin who is a nurse keeps telling us to have his A1C done, but we just told her every time that his blood sugar level is fine. We were wrong. Who knows, he got diabetes first before me. His BSL was pretty high, higher than me, it was 600+ before they flushes fluid out of his body yesterday. Now, thanks goodness, it's down to 200+, better than 600+, but still to high from the normal range. He is now very careful with what he eats and is doing regular exercise now. In one year he will be off on medicines if he continue to do so.

I may not be good in drawing, painting, but I love art. If you go to my house you will see quite few of them. They beautify my home. Family Night

Tonight is a family night at my son's school. I am not sure whether his Dad can go with us since Matt is still sick. He is on a liquid diet now since every time he eat solid foods, his stomach pain gets worst. I guess my son and I will be by ourselves tonight. Anyway, it will only be two hours, but still am not sure if I can leave my husband in his condition. We might not go this time...maybe next time. Hubby is Still Sick!

It's been four days now and my husband is still sick. We thought he was just having stomach flu because of the symptoms he was having; but now that we have searched further, it is now more likely he has a gall stone that needs to be removed. This is the sickest he has ever been since we got married and I am very worried. We can not see a doctor because when he lost his job last month, we also lost our health insurance. We need to apply for a Cobra just so he could see a doctor and have it check. I am hoping and praying that he wouldn't need a surgery...and that our own diagnostic is wrong! I have a slow day today. I have been lazy, sluggish lately. And Today, I was bored the whole day. Don't Drink and Boat!

I can't swim, but I love boating :-). I miss the time when I was single where my friends and I go to the beach and then enjoy boating. Consequences of the Bad Choice I made!

Because of the bad choice I made, 3Ps suspended my account for two weeks. That night, I have learned my lesson not to do what others are doing. Sooner or later I'll pay the price of doing something that I already know wasn't right! And I was caught! I thanked 3Ps for giving me another chance to mend my ways. I will never ever do it again.
